Is that the same weight as the older ones? I currently have the smaller 255/75/17 and I think those are around 40lb if I'm not mistaken. Hoping to move up to one of those other 2 sizes but adding 20lbs per corner doesn't sound to economic.
I just came here to say the 4wd auto is literally the best and should be on all wranglers. It works amazing and you don't even notice it engage. It's smooth as butter. My old jeep had me constantly switching from 2 to 4 for snow patches (because Alberta doesn't know how to plow a road) and it...
Ooof this is why I avoid mud. Don't be afraid to take it off-road. Just avoid deep mud and water. I never considered "mudding" offroading. It puts too much stress on the vehicle.
This is the most mud I'll do and even then it ruins the brakes and stinks.
I love your set up! what tailgate reinforcement and water tank is on the back there? how did you fit the gazelle tent in there? aren't they long? sorry for all the questions. i just love your whole roof setup
Can't even get a 2 door Willys with auto 3.6. It's either manual 3.6 or auto 2.0. The upgraded wheels, fenders and gear ratios may make it worth it but I got my 23 hv willys down to 56 from 60msrp and similarly speced 24 would be 64 so I guess I did ok
I have yet to drive a snowstorm that blocked my lights. I'm in Alberta Canada. It's winter 6 months of the year. But we do usually get the dryer snow. No wet packed stuff.
I got manual because that's all there was. Mine crawled up everything in Moab. Didn't even need gas half the time in 4 low. Just jauntied on up everything. That said I want to swap to 4:10 or 4:56. I have a willys with the abysmal 3:45
I'm going to be removing the rear window to paint my hardtop. I'm trying to figure out how to disconnect the wire for the defroster. There only videos on how to reattach. Does it just pull off the window or is there a cable that disconnects it in the top somewhere?
Help
Thanks
