Driver side rear passenger door frame paint cracking / bubbling

Anyone ever deal with paint cracking/bubbling in the door frame where the metal meets at the bottom center. I bought my 19 JLU a few months ago and shortly after purchase I noticed a bit of a crack and small chips in the bottom of the drivers side rear door frame. I’m hoping to take this to the dealership and have it repaired under warranty. Anyone ever deal with Jeep on an issue similar and have any problems?

I thought so also at first, but it appears more that the air/ moisture has travelled through the cracks and caused bubbling in the lower areas, especially near where the metal meets.

That looks like the result of a prior poor repair….

Prior damage, your screwed on warranty repair. Not and expensive fix though.

got underneath both sides and looked behind that bottom lip and noticed more rusting on the damaged paint side. Poorly repaired damage may be the correct answer.

treat the underside with POR 15.
