I have recently did some upgrades to my jeep jl, I installed heavy duty tie rod, ball joints, drag link and track bar. Unfortunately when doing this my steering stabilizer(Fox) could not be mounted with bracket that came with new tie rod. Would it be a bad idea to take it out on the rocks this weekend ? The correct bracket has been ordered but won’t be here before the weekend.

I know I've seen some CavFab videos with their 2.5 ton steering bouncing on rocks with no stabilizer. I think you'll be fine.

@Tredsdert (now banned) had tried taking his off. I don't remember the details (maybe severe death wobble?) but he quickly put it back on.

If HE considered it unsafe then that's saying a lot.

I mean covering symptoms of bad parts with ignorance sounds right up Derts alley.

Upgrade was to get rid of knocking noise- bad ball joints
Oh I was just commenting on something Dert would do lol. I figured with the parts you replaced it was more than covering symptoms

His steering was still stock, I’m pretty sure I wouldn’t run on oem parts without it, they need all the help they can get, 🙂

Wheeling like it’s 1989… good times. Keep your thumbs out of the steering wheel. You’ll figure that out soon enough.

it’s not the best idea, but if everything else is in good shape it should be fine. We use to call that normal. We also thought 33’s were big too…..

Bummer he got banned. I always liked him. Hopefully he comes back with a new account and some additional level of filter or whatever to not get banned again.

He made a post requesting his account be deleted.

Hmmm, ok. Deleted and banned are different. I’ll try to look it up. Thanks.
All we know is that he asked for his account to be deleted. It's now flagged as banned.
