Noco boost GB70 help

My battery was low, and Jeep would not start. Tried to jump it either my Noco, put the positive on the the post, and the negative by the IBS, pressed the power button, th light came on, it showed scanning with the lights, but keep would not start. Left in on the noco genius overnight, started this am. Am I going donething wrong either the noco boost. I have no auxiliary battery, and I did jumper n1 to N3. Do I need to jump at the n1 or n2 on the fuse array? I’m a bit at a loss, and don’t want to get stuck somewhere and not have the noco work.

I keep it simple, red on red, black on black. Works every time. If the battery is really low, press & hold the boost button for a couple seconds.

Next time I’ll hold the button down and see if that helps, but it detected the battery and went into scan mode, and it read 12.2 volts, and is a 12 month old h7, so I didn’t think it was that dead. I read a few posts about attaching to the N1, since I do not have the aux or cabling still installed, I was thinking that might make a difference. But it is early morning here, so I probably need to mull over the electrical system for a bit in my brain.

I tried in the battery terminal as well, no start there as well

I have a GB40. Anytime it has no effect, I put it in boost mode, and it has worked every time.

Find a ground,not on the battery
You want to keep the ibs. Out of the circuit it might not start but it’s a good idea to keep the ibs out when charging.

The owners manual shows the usual jump setup used for most non-hybrid vehicles. Positive from the jump source to the positive on the dead battery. Negative from the jump source to a suitable ground on the vehicle being jumped.

I have the same NOCO and have had to use a few times. Like others have said, when it doesn’t detect the battery you are jumping, the voltage is usually too low and the safety system is triggered on the NOCO. I.e. it can’t detect the battery and “check” to make sure you have the NOCO connected correctly. To bypass that, try the boost mode.
