I had to buy 5 more new OEM sensors from Schrader for $165 and pay Discount $40.00 to install them.

when I got home to check the lug nuts with my torque wrench I found 3 hand tight, 2 of which are the locking lug nuts. Not a great felling of confidence. My suggestion is that everyone do like me and double check your lug nuts are to factory torque.
The age old adage still applies. Trust . . . but verify.

My stock KO2s have 26K miles on them and are in need of replacement - not happy to be getting what is closer to sports car mileage out of these things. They are noticeably worse in wet weather, particularly in regard to standing water and hydroplaning. They are fairly evenly worn, but I'm not even close to getting what they say is a 50K mile tire. The wet performance is only going to get worse. They are also noticeably noisier. I went with the Falken Wildpeak A/T3W C range tires today and will have them installed at Discount Tire on Monday. I have heard only good things about these and also see that Discount and Tirerack both say the same. I'll follow up with my impressions after putting a few miles on them.

Thank you for your patronage. Looking forward to your report out on the Falkens. I know it's a favorite of mine! Enjoy the new shoes!

noreserve, not sure what kind of driving you do, but I have gotten 50k+ miles out of KO2's for years on my Tacomas.
Just sayin'.

I have had regular tire balance and rotation at 5-6K intervals, along with annual alignment service. I drive conservatively in the Jeep - I have a sports car for the spirited stuff. I have been off-road a few times, but it's mostly suburban and rural driving. I have a pretty new Boreas XT camper that I have towed a few times. I'm at payload with my load-out, but that should be fine with the C load rating. I keep an eye on maintenance items. The tires have just gone downhill pretty quickly around 20K+. It rains a lot around here and I consciously avoid standing water, as it's a spooky affair with the KO2s now. I don't doubt that most people are getting very good mileage out of them. For whatever reason, a number of us are not. It could be a manufacturing issue or just some combination of vehicle attributes that have contributed. I am unwilling to take a chance on another set at this point. I will say that neither Tirerack nor Discount Tire were surprised at my feedback on the KO2's wear, so it's not unheard of.
