Hi everyone

I’m a second time round Jeep owner. Today I’m going to order some new tires and wheels for my 2019 JLU Sahara 2.0 gasoline. I drive 55-60 miles mostly highway to work each day and don’t do much wheeling. I want the BFG KO2 all terrain. I prefer the look of 34s 315/70/17 over the 33s 285/75/17. I don’t plan on regearing. I will add a AEV 2” budget boost if I go for the larger tyres. Wheels will be AEV Borah for JL or Pinter for JK.

I need some help deciding what’s best for my daily drive. 33s or 34s. Please help me it’s driving me crazy.

Did you mean 285/70/17s, those are about 32.5", the 285/75/17s are almost 34" tall
I have tires almost in-between those sizes, a 295/70/17 (about 33.5" tall) and FWIW they work well as far as still being able to use the full rpm range of the 8AT. I think the 315s will make the 8th gear almost non-existent but I have the V6 so that may be different w/ the turbo 4.
The AT tread will make your drives comfortable vs a more aggressive tread pattern. If you can find those tires in that 295/70/17 I think that would be a good middle ground. That 295 width won't be much outside the fenders either.

with the amount of commuting I would go with the smaller lighter tire unless the fuel costs are not a concern

You might also consider the Load Range. An E rated tire typically has a stiffer sidewall which can affect ride quality. It stands to reason that a tougher tire built for heavy loads isn't going to flex as much.
