I wasn't able to get the tire weight separately, but my setup (AEV Borahs, KO2s, protection ring) came in at 100 lbs total today. I'm happy with that 👍

Here are the 37" KO2 Load C mounted! On Quadratec Recon wheels. They're pretty much the same offset/backspace specs as the Mopar accessory wheels.

On the Discount Tire lift so I guess this is what a 3" lift might look like?

My trusty helper doing the chalk test. I got down to 24 psi and the edges are almost even. I don't think I'm going to drop any lower for now. Maybe my 2 door is just lighter. I think most 37" owners report between 25 - 30 psi. At 24 psi I'm seeing a height of 35-3/8". So basically these are legit 36" tires. If they just marketed as such I think everyone would be happy. :giggle: That's the sweet spot for me.

RubiRed, that is GORGEOUS! Are you running any sort of lift or is that bone stock aside from tires/wheels?

What were you running before and how is the road noise and handling? Any major differences?

Perfect size for us cool kids with 2-door JL's :) My 37" C's are here but I am in middle of installing a Dana 4.88 UD44 front axle / regear rear axle and will not have a chance to finish till this weekend...I can't wait to get these monsters mounted!

Thanks Smoke 'Em! I was pretty much bone stock 2 door Rubicon with factory suspension and 285 KO2. Mainly added metal bumpers and winch, see everything in my signature. I've barely driven 10 miles on them so no deep insights. But let's be honest it's not going to be much different than the smaller KO2 I came from. With the taller sidewalls to absorb things it does feel more plush going over speedbumps. I haven't taken hard turns yet but I imagine the tradeoff is slightly more roll in corners.

Two things I was certain would follow...but now I'm slowing down to reconsider. I thought I would immediately regear from factory 4.10 to either 4.88 or 5.13. I also thought I would immediately put a 2" spacer lift (thinking AEV). After just minimal time with it I no longer feel they're imminently required.
  • I have a 6-speed. It definitely felt sluggish from the moment I left the tire shop. But even after a couple short errands I've adjusted my shift points where it's kind of passable. Of course nothing I can do about the start-from-standstill in first gear. I'm going to run it a bit before making a decision. I still feel regearing will eventually happen, just not sure I need to rush into it.
  • To satisfy my curiosity I took my stock Rubicon suspension out to get flexed. The front driver is pressed against the bump stop here. The front driver tire barely meets the inner fender. The rear passenger tire however does slightly press on a couple spots of the fender. My take: I'd be okay rock crawling with this light contact. But I would be worried doing high-speed dessert run as the sudden smashing when bottoming out could knock the fenders out. I'm still leaning to a small spacer lift but again it seems less urgent than I expected. It really surprised me it took on this much flex and almost got away with no rubbing. Note YMMV - I'm on 2 door Rubicon V6. Just about every trim level/engine/number of doors has different suspension setup or final ride height.

Looks good! Almost like a stock CJ7 on 33s.

My first two tires arrived Monday and my remaining two tires arrived today. Brought a bathroom scale to weigh two of them. 65.4 lbs and 64.2 lbs. So the average is right around the advertised 64.8 lbs BFGoodrich claims. I'm happy with that :like:
It's insane to have a 37" tire at under 65 lbs, even if they are a bit smaller. If they prove durable and puncture resistant on the trails, it will be a great option for many.

It's also sad that Jeep does not offer anything bigger than 33s on the Wrangler, while Ford is pushing the tire manufacturers to hit their weight goals, with 35s available in every Bronco as an option, 37s on the Raptor and likely the Warthog Bronco. At 65lbs the fuel mileage hit is much, much less significant than what the 392 costs them.

Agreed. I want to put these one my 392 as soon as I get it. Sounds like I will need a bit of lift to avoid rubbing off roading though.
