How does the emissions system react with the added power/fuel? I used to have a similar module that altered the signals from the PCM to the Injectors on my Cummins. I noticed that the truck needed to regen more especially on higher power levels.

Does it utilize the post-DPF low pressure EGR more, similar to the GDE tune to control the additional NOx of the added power? I would prefer it do this since the air from the low pressure EGR is a lot cleaner than the high pressure EGR at the engine end therefore sends less soot back through the system.

We've done all emissions testing in house as we self cert everything prior to release, while its pending with Carb. More power will almost always lead to more frequent regens if driven hard, but we have years of experience with thee types of products like our Pulsar for L5P and the EZX for Powertroke, or the Cummins JWA products we offer. All of them offer solid gains in power and performance while remaining completely compliant.

Thanks

Get the FAN OVERIDE onboard and I'll take one. The fan control is an ABSOLUTE must with these little motors...

Looks like a nice feature set at an attractive price. Do you have any reviews of this on YouTube yet?

I am not 100% sure, let me confirm.
We have had multiple Beta testers running them for months.
I actually met one of them at Jeep Beach this year. He drove his rig down from Maine and reported a 1 mpg improvement over the same trip last year without the Pulsar XT. He was also thrilled with the power and feature set.

Interesting product, look forward to hearing more about it. Perhaps from some of the testers.

This is intriguing. I have the GDE tune on mine and have been considering getting hers done but this is a lot less expensive and seems like it would be much easier to remove. Does it affect Coupled Pressure Control in the fuel pump. GDE does not use it at all.

No, we do not affect coupled fuel control.

Thanks

Feedback from one of our testers, not sure if he is on the forums:

@projectovercast has 10,000 miles on his Diesel Jeep since installing our Pulsar XT module. Want his honest feedback?
“I have had a great experience. I have driven it almost 10,000 miles at this point with the tuning intact. I seem to use less DEF, definitely more power and my fuel mileage seems to have increased 1-2 mpg.
I drove the Jeep from Maine to Jeep Beach and total mileage was just around 5,000 miles down and back and around florida. Jeep performed flawlessly.”

If you unplug and remove the system for a dealer service visit ie. fuel pump recall, will the programming for gear changes and tire size remain or does it go back to stock? Is the app only useable on one device or can it be used on multiple like switching between iPhone and iPad?

The app will work across multiple devices if needed. Tire size and axle ratio will stay when removed for service.
