Rhine, lemme ask you...do you see AA locking up on the jeep dash screen? AA is not locked up on the phone, it's functional, but the dash display flat locks up, quite regularly, and I have to unplug and replug to get it going again. I think it's the jeep firmware but there is no update...

  10. Whoops…Def fluid in the fuel tank

He's talking DEF...not GASOLINE in the fuel tank...unless I'm missing something. DEF is mostly water with urea added. 2 ounces is just a guess and we all know how tolerant these HPFP are to contamination. I would not take a chance...do what ever it takes to get the DEF out'a the tank. This is a...
  11. 2021 JLURD fluid leak on pass side

I had a 1956 Ford Club Sedan with a 292 Y-Block, Absolutely 100% original a nut and bolt ground up rotisserie restoration to be factory original...right down to the Silvertown WSW bias ply tires. It had a vent tube that ran from the valley pan down to the road. It had a rear main seal that was...
  12. Coolant Overheating Issue

Actually, I'm very happy with the new radiator. Daily running around there is little difference but when the coolant temperature rises and you switch on the fan (tazer), the temperature DROPS fast... like 10⁰f to 15⁰f in 60 seconds...so fast it sometimes drops below the thermostat for a few...

  14. My EcoDiesel is running like a Champ!

Amazing rig! Ready for new tires, 47,000 on the KO2's and trying to hit 50k and that should be no problem. Only issue that required maintenance was a water pump leak that was not covered under warranty. With the bone heads wrenching at the dealers, I was better off doing the work myself. I...
  15. 2024 Wrangler Tow Capacity 5000lbs

Here's another thought...if you are worried about overloading the rear, use a load distributing device to shift more weight to the front. Check out this old advertisement from EZ-Lift installed on a Oldsmobile Toranado... AND...if you are worring about tow capacity on the Wrangler...you can...
  16. 2024 Wrangler Tow Capacity 5000lbs

Only apparent change is the full floating rear axle. Kind'a shoots down the "too short, inadequate brakes ,etc. bla, bla" argument why you SHOULD NOT under any circumstances tow more than 3k lbs with a pre 2024 Wrangler...but I'm sure Chicken Little is watching intently in the shadows...lol
  17. Derated for the first time, now throwing a P000AF code.

Go this thread around page 6... that's where we've been posting about the radiator...hope the Link works https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/coolant-overheating-issue.114305/
