Currently running the Dynatrac Endurosport 2" lift on my 2018 JLUR which was fantastic when I was living outside DC and 99% on the road. That lift is plush and perfect for DDs.

HOWEVER, I moved to Colorado over the summer and loaded my JLUR down with lots of extra equipment for camping, adventuring, MB, winter sports, etc. Also going to install a fridge and slide this summer. The Dynatrac lift just cannot handle anything more than two adults and my daughter in the back. Over Christmas break, we were fully loaded with our skis on top and the back full of gear (snowshoes, winter kit, etc.) the lift just sags horribly and I routinely bottomed out bopping through snow bumps between Frisco and Breckenridge on the back roads.

I'm going to stay with running 35s, and it's still my DD so not looking for anything more than 2.5"

What lifts out there would be a good replacement for the Dynatrac that would also handle a heavier overlanding load? Needs to be docile enough for DD and not rattle my wife's fillings out of her teeth on a grocery run, but throw 4 serious MBs on the hitch rack with a Dometic fridge in the back and not sag or bottom out.

TIA!

AEV 2.5” DualSport lift with Front Adjustable Trac Bar to recenter axle. You should be good to go as they designed their lift with heavy equipment in mind. Might want to check with AEV first to see if they suggest anything else.

I’ll second the AEV and add in MetalCloak or Synergy (2”). Both the first 2 are rated to carry heavy loads. I considered the Dynatrac but spring rate and not handling weight well made me go w/ Synergy. I also didn’t want more than 2” and MC and AEV both are going to end up closer to 3” as they’re designed to carry extra weight.

Get a set of Clayton Overland 2.5” rear springs and see how they do.

Well after a ton of research, I went with the Clayton Overlander 2.5. Just had it installed and drove home tonight. Intentionally hit some rough spots on Powers in Co Springs and I didn't bottom out as I did with the Duratrac. In only 15 miles, I am definitely happy with the result.

Of course, I need to fully load her down and hit the trails, but in my limited driving today I can tell I'm going to like the handling and improved capacity.

Don't get me wrong, the Duratrac was a fantastic kit if you are only ever going to have people in your rig and no stuff. For driving around DC it was great. As I mentioned, once I got to the Rockies I knew I needed something different.
