It's 2024, and I recently asked ProCharger if they had 'solved' the Manual Transmission problem, which has been illustrated here in great detail.
The answer I got went to great lengths to avoid answering my question, so from that perspective, I wouldn't trust them.
Too bad...
Well, I JUST got my 2018 JLUR back today from Faricy Boys in Colorado Springs, having replaced the steering gear. When I got home, I realized they didn't update the PCM or address the TSB in any way per their paperwork!!!
I specifically identified the TSB to the "Service Coordinator" and...
I've tried several different master cylinder tank adapters to do a pressurized bleed on my system, but I can't find one that fits my tank. 2018 JLUR. I've tried Ares and Firstinfo products that purport to be compatible with Jeep/Mopar, but none fit.
Very frustrated, anyone find one that works...
I love my 2018 JLUR, but I would be very hesitant to buy any Stellantis product at this point. I grew up outside Detroit, and my family was a major player on the supplier side of the industry. My first engineering school internships were in some of the supplier design houses. I carpooled with...
Thanks a ton! Upgraded to the 40.1 without any muss or fuss, and no trip to the dealership.
Really appreciate having the files available for download. Hopefully, someone will continue to grab and post upgrades. Very helpful!
So I ended up shooting that pic to Method tech support, and they recommended 17x9 -12mm.
Pretty damned close to spot on with what I had on stock rims with spacer, just a few mm further out.
Very happy with the results.
I'm currently running Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T 35 12.5 17LTs on my stock Rubicon rims with 1.75" Spydertrax spacers. LOVE these tires!
Ideally, what would be the optimum rim specs that would eliminate the need for my spacers yet keep the exact same tire positioning? I really like how the...
I have the MB Quart with AmpPro as well. Is it worth the DSR-1 upgrade if I already have the AmpPro installed? Do I need to replace the harness with the Fosgate T-harness? If so, what harness model number did you use? Thanks!
That's great mileage!
Cruising at 80 - 85 on I-25 just to keep up with traffic, I'm rolling on 35" Mickey Thompsons, plus I've got a bit of armor and a big winch, so my JLUR is very heavy. On E85 I get shit mileage in those conditions, up and down hills, etc. I'm also running on a manual...
I bought my 2018 JLUR from Craig Benner when I PCS'd back from overseas. Had to handle most of the arrangements remotely, but he had my Jeep ready the day I landed back in the DC area.
Koons' admin process is a bit much, and I had issues with the Service Dept., but Craig was legit and got me...
I just had a CF installed a few months ago. At first, it was insanely stiff, but it's broken in nicely, and very happy with it. I went CF because I'm now towing an off-road teardrop and didn't want my clutch grenading on me in the backcountry towing my trailer. Figured Stellantis would cheap out...
WARNING TO THE COMMUNITY: I was a pre-order for this product, waited for delivery, and although it appears extremely well made, it does NOT/NOT fit in the same cube as the OEM headlamps.
Why does this matter?
I have an Cold Air Intake box installed. There is not enough clearance for the...
Great to know. I have an offroad teardrop on order and wanted to upgrade my clutch before I start pulling that thing on the trails in the high country. Don't want to grenade my tranny in the backcountry and like the beefier flywheel in the kit to boot.
Just got my 18 JLUR back from the shop after my KCFT install. I definitely like the much improved performance of the transmission, but the clutch pedal is EXTREMELY stiff. As in I feel like I've done a few sets of pistol squats from my daily commute.
Anyone else experience and extremely stiff...
I have the Livernois Motorsports tune kit and have run E85 extensively when the price delta was over $1/gallon here in Colorado, and E85 is widely available on the Front Range all the way to Frisco at K&Gs. Plus, the tune was specifically tailored to get the maximum power from E85 on the 3.6...
Installed the new Gen 3 Hub on my JLUR yesterday and tapped the fuse box right where you suggested. So far it really looks like this will resolve my issues with the Genesis Offroad Dual Battery System. Only wish Gen 3 came out when I originally purchased the system...
So far, when I ops checked...
This looks like what I've been looking for. BTW - received the two replacement Odyssey batts and it really looks like I got at least one garbage Chinese Full River causing some of my problems.
I took a look at the video and site, do you have a specific fuze location you used for testing on a JL...
I've had my Genesis Dual Battery Kit installed in my JLUR for almost 18 months now, and can honestly say I'm not sure it's the way to go.
I do not want a secondary battery taking up mass and cube in the back. Period.
I purchased their system with two Full River AGM Group 25s, and had issues...
