Bought my first new Jerp! :)
Occupation
Bit wrassler
EDIT: In response to mudflaps couple posts back, I don't like mudflaps either.

I'd agree with @jeepingib that they are mediocre at best. A decent upgrade over the sports if you get them free or nearly free. Pretty much any aftermarket decent shock will be much better.
Yeah, I'm finding out now that they are pretty short travel and apparently tend to leak after only couple years. Liking the Fox 2.0 for 0-1.5" lift shocks.

I used a hair dryer and peeled slowly at 180°.
Sweet, on my list! Figured my heat gun even on low is way too much lol. :)

Woah good thing I haven't bought them yet, I see them on fb marketplace for like $150-200

What aftermarket options are worth getting for a Sport? If not looking for a huge lift or anything just a decent upgrade
It really depends on your preferred ride/handling. The bilstein 5100s are a great budget option around $400 for a set. Their digressive valving does make them rude stiff to some people, but with that comes better handling, less body roll in corners, less brake dive under hard braking etc. I like the tighter feeling, but some find it rides rough. If you prefer a softer ride the fox 2.0s are good, but are closer to $600-700 for a set. Both will give you much better articulation than the stock shocks and will dampen big bumps or potholes at speed much better too.

Am I weird for NOT liking mud flaps? (visually)
I don't like the way they look either, but I couldn't stand my muddy door handles anymore. (And putting mudflaps just on the front would've looked stupid.)

I wouldn’t consider these mods. More like accessories. Picked up a shadeidea sunshade from Amazon so my ghostly white ass deosnt get burnt and got the mopar center mount brake light.
Edit- also got the mopar grab handles.

after a fire extinguisher (to try to help keep the J**p you're modding)?
you've already done one of my quick/cheap/easy favs; the Dead Pedal.

all the following is assuming you've already made everything underneath solid and tight since yours probably isn't new. (we can't tell from the lack of info in your Sig Line/Profile)

next on my list of recommendations would be a Tazer or something like it. with it you get
- Hood Alarm activation (again; about keeping the J**p and parts of it,..)
- ESS lockout (so that pesky ESS stays off like it was the last time you drove and pushed the Avengers button).
- ability to correct the speedo for those "Bigger wheels/tires"
there's a bunch of other fun stuff you can get out of these things, like a strobing CHMSL, foglight dropout cancelling, etc.

next, to catch up with what you've already done:
- regearing (to keep everything spinning as it was designed to after tire radius increases). not clear what sizes you changed from/to so not clear if this would be necessary.
- ball joints (to deal with the extra weight of increased stresses as a result of those "Bigger wheels/tires"). the plastic bits in your stock Ball joints are probably going to be trashed soon if they're not already.
- steering box recall if eligible (again, can't tell from the lack of info in your Sig Line/Profile if this might apply to you).
- track bar/sector shaft reinforcement (again, to help deal with those likely heavier "Bigger wheels/tires").
- Spare Tire Mount/Hinge upgrade to carry those "Bigger wheels/tires", cuz those things can get heavy!

after that i't depends more on what you're going to use it for.

for comfort;
- full headliner like Hotheads (with sound dampening options like the Sound Assassin strips) would be high on my list for cooling and quieting.

for driveability:
- adjustable front LCAs to get your Negative Caster out to about 6º+. (the Mopar LCAs are a step in the right direction, but don't go far enough, and are not adjustable to help compensate for changes in the future.)

for convenience:
- Tailgate Table. super convenient for all kinds of things, ranging from cooking/picnicing, holding tools while wrenching, ammo and magazines, etc.

for offroad:
- steering stabilizer relocation; that thing is a rock magnet in the stock location if you're ever going anywhere with rocks. (not clear if you're actually going to do this since you already put on sliders with steps.)
- rear LCA skids. (if you look under the J**p, you'll see these are the lowest things underneath, and are likely to get some contact in the rocks.)
- tow hook/recovery points (if you don't have them already) and a set of soft shackles and tow straps. a Hitch Slider doubles up on this point nicely if you have a hitch to plug it into (although that's probably doubtful with a 2-door).
you can go all the way down the rabbit hole with armor (to the extreme of a full belly pan), but i'd be looking at everything underneath that i don't want getting banged up and get it protected.

after reviewing the above, i might start thinking about suspension upgrades.
even if i wasn't planning on lifting i might do a shock upgrade early on because the stock shocks are <how shall we say?> 'underwhelming'.
be advised that if you're thinking about putting more air under it, there's more involved in doing it right than just slapping in a new set of shocks and springs. at the very least, after all the above, i'd suggest that you plan on a minimum of Shocks, Springs, Anti-Sway Bar Links (disconnectable for bonus points), Adjustable Front Track Bar and a Rear Track Bar Relocation bracket and probably some other stuff i'm not remembering.

most of all, make sure the nut behind the wheel is adjusted properly; these things are fun do drive, but they're not sports cars.

Would love to hear what your favorite and must do mods are for someone that is new to the Jeep world!

Spending a lot of time in the forums and I'm probably missing some things. Anything from performance, comfort, and aesthetic upgrades

List of mods I've done so far
Tint
Weathertech floor mats
Stubby antenna
Bigger wheels/tires
Phone mount
Grab handles
Gas tank cap
LED headlights
Tail lights
Rock sliders with step
Dead pedal

In cart and ordering soon
Mid width aluminum front bumper (haven't decided on brand)

What year is your Wrangler and what grab handles did you go with?

I skimmed through 8 pages but didn’t see anyone suggest an air compressor (hard mount or portable) and I tire plug kit.

Any brand recommendations for a tire plug kit?

Gluetreads or Black Jack make good tire repair kits.

Put this Film on your door hinges to stop rock chips. Cheap and effective.
You know you can buy that film in a roll, cut it to size and use it all else ware. I bought the first roll a few years back, I want to say it was 6" x 9 yards. I have used it on many cars and trucks, on door jambs, behind door handles and along the front edge of the hood

Dig the bumpers and the whole rig, you need some steel wheels in sarge green now.

Swap out the plastic bumpers for an original front bumper and rear bumperettes.

Any significance to the serial number you chose for the hood?
