Like others have said, Screen protector is a must. Sill protectors are not, but I'd recommend some clear film over the lower door sills to protect from scratches getting in and out. Mine came with floor liners, but if you don't have them, I'd say get some to make clean up easy.
If you plan on going off road, get recovery gear like a snatch strap, gloves, basic tools, and first aid.

The folks have gave you sound advice. There is Nothing that “must” be done to make you Jeep a fully functional on / off road vehicle. It is FAR more capable than any previous generation of Jeep right out of the box, and if this is your first off roader it’s far more capable than you?. Drive it and enjoy it. It’ll do pretty much anything you want to do. It is NOT unstoppable, NO vehicle is, (no matter how many mods are made). You can get stuck in ANY rig if you try hard enough. Use common sense, pick your lines carefully, and you’ll be amazed at where you can go.

Google will point to a lot of videos of idiots telling you "must do" things or don't do this till you've wasted your time watching my video, ignore all of them. How tall are you? I would say seat jackers are a must if you're over 6', it makes the ride much nicer. Outside of that, they are pretty nice off the lot.
I am 5-9, so I believe it is not require . Thank you

There is only one proper customization that every Jeep must do. Custom pinstripes, brought to you by whatever trail you’re on. Go get some.

congratulations on the Jeep!!!
Sorry for my limited knowledge but what is the use of pinstripes

I’ll second the seat jackers - one of the best $100 I’ve spent. I’m only 5’10” my wife a little shorter. I put them in mine first, and both of us swapping between Jeeps decided the seats were more comfortable with them so I put them in hers as well.

Hi all, I am expecting my first Jeep next week. I have purchased a Jeep Sahara. I was reading in Google that there are several must do customization require in Jeep, like seat cover, steel bumper, entry guards, hood latches. I am not sure what are the must do and which are just advertisement. Can you please guide
Why do you need google tell you what to do? What do you need from your Jeep?

there is no such thing as a "must do" mod. Your rig will be just fine off the lot and probably take you to the majority of places you want to go to off road. Make mods that you want not just because someone said you should.

Except for the angry bird/grumper grill, that is definitely a must do mod

Good advice here, but I'll add mine anyways (it's the internet, right?)

1. Start a spreadsheet to track the things that you come across on this forum, etc. This way, you've got the information if/when you decide that's something you want to buy, and you can plan your budget more easily.
2. The only "required" mods (IMO) are the screen protector, stubby antenna, and a dead pedal (I use the Hooke and it's great).
3. The rest will come as you're driving around, using your Jeep. As you think of things, or go to Jeep club meets, hit the trails, you'll see stuff that others have that you think would be cool/handy/etc.
4. Read other people's build threads (usually linked in their footers, or there's a whole subforum section). This will give you an idea of the things that other people actually put (and keep) on their Jeeps.

There are some really great Jeep-related YouTubers out there, but there's also a lot of click-chasing goobers on YouTube. I wouldn't put much stock into their "Must-Do Mods" videos unless they also have a good quantity of videos of them actually out on the trails using their Jeeps. TrailRecon, CheaperJeeperTV, etc are ones I personally would trust.
ExtremeTerrain or the other storefront video channels are REALLY awesome at putting out install videos and other helpful things like that, but keep in mind that they exist to get you to buy things.
