I finally said F'it and started counting up everything I had, took money from the co-workers desk, went diving under couch cushions, dug through the cat litter....and I'm just $25,000 short

I can start selling blood and semen I guess....wonder how long it would take.
Dude, you are awesome ???

How quickly can you produce blood?

We already know how quickly it takes for the other fluid... ?

I guess it depends on who's "liquids" you are selling and how often you harvest them.

The 4xe has ample power for the chassis. Tons of fun on and off road. With 4hi on and traction control off you can surprise a lot of people off the line. It is next fastest after 392 and the others are not close to it. The battery (which never loses power even at 0 percent) feels like a small supercharger when you hit the gas.

Test drive one and see if it would be enough for you.
I don't know what you're talking about, I have definitely heard of people losing power and then having their Jeep go into limp mode until they could find a charging station...

Im not talking about or denying that some people have had issues with their 4xes. Im referring to the fact that, on a properly running 4xe like ours, there is no horsepower difference when the battery is listed as being at 0 percent or 100 percent. You always have full power available despite the percentage charge listed on the dash readout.

So it is as “fun” on a depleted battery as it is on a fully charged battery.

There is a lot of hearing that goes on with the 4xe, I would take most of that with a grain of salt, there seems to be a lot of hate out there for the platform from non owners, who are self proclaimed experts that appear to glean most of their knowledge from 1 post posters.

Yeah, there is nothing right about that statement. There have been instances of 4xe's going into limp mode, but it is not related to needing to charge the battery. Limp mode means there is a malfunction somewhere. Similar thing happened to our 20JLU 2.0, so it's not specific to 4xe. Might be more common with the new technology, but that's hard to determine just based on forum posts.

The battery will never discharge completely. If you get too low on gas, the battery will "disconnect" itself (not really disconnected, just controlled by software), and you'll just run out of fuel, like a normal ICE vehicle. I assume this is for battery longevity reasons. For this vehicle, there will never be a time where you must get to a charging station. You just need to find a gas station.

The amount of completely wrong info about the 4xe on this entire forum is so weird.

Yes it can go to a check engine light on the dash with a little red turtle in the instrument upper left quadrant and put the vehicle in a limp mode. Mainly due to a problem somewhere with the hybrid system possibly. My 4XE has been perfect. As time marches on things improve with new designs, and software updates. Bugs get worked out and things get even more reliable. No different than a new jet, new rocket or any other technology :)

4xe is definitely the most fun beyond the 392.

any bad reviews of driving experiences is from someone not familiar with the powertrain. Fun mode requires knowledge of the systems and how to access all 375hp at all times. You figure it out a few days after ownership.

I have the 3.6 e torque. I originally wanted the diesel but learned how often it chugs DEF. I bought mine off the lot and I am impressed with the torque off the line. I have a falcon steering stabilizer in firm mode and a carbon fiber steering wheel. I feel my Jeep drives extremely sporty and it puts a smile on my face. For what it’s worth, I sold my 2022 c8 corvette (for a large profit) and bought this. I’m not disappointed
Looks like you made a good choice. Yes...that DEF-guzzling concern is perplexing. DEF costs squat and needs refilling very infrequently.

People were reporting having to refill DEF every 3k miles. If that’s true, what a PITA
