Funny, I've not seen your kicks at Uwharrie
Let me tear the trails up and get the whole place shut down in this guy... Not even a 4x4 so you'll have to get me unstuck... better op check your winch.

OK, fine then, let's widen a Trailhawk for stability then and do a long travel front (rear is decently long travel).

The important bits are - manual, 2.0, vroom vroom

Naw we need the reliability of the v6

Nah we're doing a kinetic recovery with an undersized kinetic rope, helmets, and a prayer

Man, if jeep would put a manual with the 2T, we could have a new SRT4!
As trouble-free as my '21 has been, meaning I've no intention of selling it, pairing a third pedal with the 2.0T would be seriously tempting.

I think it was pretty close to a 1:1 exchange back when my comment was a bit more relevant, lol.
The exchange rate was 1:1 when we visited the Maritimes some years ago. I think those Canucks were on to something, because most businesses actively advertised US dollars being accepted therein.

The seafood was excellent, and gasoline was damn expensive.

And, something new to argue about, which we desperately need…….😜
This is the Interwebs, good Sir! Arguments are self sustaining.

As long as it smashes through your windows and not mine.

If you think the 3.6 is all rev and no beans, lemme introduce you to my friend the 3.2 in the KL Cherokee. Less torque, less gear multiplication, and a worse transmission!

Thanks for reminding me I gotta go submit the claim for the truck's windshield. Fuckin prices are like $1500-2k for that '24 windshield.

Legit is a shame they never paired it with a competent manual. Though, with them having to derate to the 3.6's torque output to avoid grenading the clutch, there's no way the JL manual could've held up to the way the 2.0 builds torque.

Hear me out though - manual KL Cherokee (post facelift, not the ugly one) with the full fat 2.0 in a longitudinal setup, lowered and AWD. Rally Jeep.
What's really crazy is when you find out that they didn't derate the 3.6 to the manual transmission torque capacity but to the clutch torque capacity, they aren't the same thing. The transmission itself is capable of handling a lot more torque than what the 3.6 makes.

It's the dual mass flywheel clutch system that is the freaking problem and reasons nobody understands they won't ditch it.

At least we can finally let the dead horse rest in peace.
I wish, but it's never going to happen. 3.6 vs 2.0 will live on long after both engines are discontinued...I mean just look at the oil viscosity threads. There are forums for cars that have been out of production for THREE DECADES that still have those threads going strong.
