I've heard from two dealers now that MY23 orders are ending soon (end of this month), with MY24 coming earlier than normal this year. Any educated speculation on substantive changes coming to the MY24 JLU? I'm trying to get my Willys JLU ordered but I can't yet because Cold Weather and Selec-Trac have been unavailable for a few weeks. This likely means that I'll be having to order a MY24 next month.

I'm really hoping I won't be forced to get a Willys with that new grille design! It kinda ruins the Willys look in my opinion.

Any other ideas on MY24?

Cold Weather and Selec-Trac have been unavailable ? That is odd.

Yeah, this is my first time ordering a Wrangler, and I wanted to order a month ago but Selec-Trac has been unavailable. This week Cold Weather became unavailable also. Real bummer.

That would be a deal breaker for me. Last year I bought my 22 JL Willys from a dealer 85 miles away because it was on the lot with the options I wanted. That being 2.0L, Hardtop, Cold Weather Group, Convenience Group and Technology Group.

If necessary install a “Jeep” grill— sell the “Renegade” look alike grill, enough like it to cover a lot of the cost.

I would bet that any MY24 changes are going to be similar to what you're seeing on the 20th Anniversary Rubicon set up.

From the photos I've seen, that means no interior redesign or major revisions.

My assumption (no data to support) is that they're doing an earlier-than-normal MY24 to give plenty of runway for whatever changes MY2025 is going to bring.

I wonder if they will extend the XR option to other engine/transmission choices, mainly to the V6/Manual.

If the new model year order guides hit in March, that would be the first time we've seen that in YEARS. Actually I can't remember that ever happening in recent history. So the question has to be asked: Are they losing sales to Ford and therefore they are scrambling to get new features out the door as soon as possible?

So far all I've seen is that for '24 you can get vinyl/rubber floors and marine grade seats, which are both pages taken out of the Bronco book.

A couple of years ago Jeep Cares was polling members here on a new console layout for better functionality and I wonder if that's coming for '24. And with the deletion of the diesel and 392 there won't be any high-output engines to compete with Chevy's 2.7, Ford's 2.7, or the new Tacoma with a turbo engine either so I wonder if the Hurricane will finally show up in the 2024 JL?

It's freaking February. September was traditionally the month when new MY orders opened, then Jeep and some other automakers started shifting it to the Summer months, but February is insane IMO.

Late summer - mid fall is generally Jeep. 2022 didn't start building till Christmas when I bought mine. 22 was a short year for building but they still didn't start taking orders until October 8th 21.

was a weird year though so I suspect they will be on target for late summer and back to normal this year for 24my.

When is the I6 turbo coming? Seems like it was announced over a year ago.
It was never confirmed as coming to anything other than the Grand Wagoneer, Wagoneer, and Ram 1500. It still hasn't made its way to the Ram. My guess is after the Ram, it will probably come to a special edition Grand Cherokee. IF it comes to the Wrangler and Gladiator, it will be when the JM is introduced towards the end of the decade.
