Moab bucket list trip?

We did a roadtrip to TN from Phoenix and ran a couple of B of H trails along the way. You're going to love wheeling in Moab, but be prepared for 100° in late August. Get out early!

Just got back from a week in Moab on Friday. Was our first time and it was wonderful. I expected it to have have beautiful scenery, but it was constant wonder!

We stayed at the Gravity Haus, it was a nice place.

Gravity Haus is really nice. It was relatively inexpensive when it first opened, but their prices have increased quite a bit.

Do they still have the free breakfast with their scrumptious cinnamon roll croissant? Highly recommended.

Last April @19 JLUR Bright Whit3 did a round trip from NJ.

And I got the chance to wheel and camp with him. He is not a bad guy.

I would say, make it two weeks and drive yourself, but that's just me.

I will be in Moab hopefully in June, July or August. Not sure yet. Just starting to look at things now. We're in tombstone right now and plan on going to Utah, Idaho, and Colorado in that three months period.

Can't wait!

I will be there August 26-30 if you make it a late trip. Weather might be slightly cooler by then at least.

Drive your Jeep. You will not regret it! If you are looking to get your feet out there I would highly recommend doing Gemini Bridges first. There are multiple trails that off shoot from that trail that makes for a great day.

Someone will ship your Jeep, but you lose a bit of control on timing. Someone has to receive the car at destinations, etc. This can be a pain, but certainly manageable.
