Looks almost like a bronco prototype. Eh, probably less front travel on the Bronco.

I have pics with measurements of both the 3.5" and 4.5" rear springs laying loose on the ground next to each other. I forgot to do the same with the fronts, as far as free length measurements, as I was starting to run out of daylight. Here's a rate calculator: https://eibach.com/us/p-192-spring-rate-calculator.html
For some reason I thought @Headbarcode had shared a pic of the 4.5s, and I ran that data (and that from my 3.5s) on the calculator using the wire diameters from the MC site at some point a few months back. I'll have to look for it.
The front upper relocation brackets are specifically for the 6-packs. The front lower relocation brackets are meant for the Rocksports or any other comparable long travel shocks. They both should not be used together. The relatively short compressed length is offset by an approximately (IIRC) 3" upper bracket, and about 1.5" from the lower outboards.
6 Pak spec:
- Compressed Size Eye to Eye: 13 1/4"
- Extended Length Eye to Eye: 28 1/4"
With 4.5" of bracket "shock extensions":
- Compressed Size Eye to Eye: 17 3/4"
- Extended Length Eye to Eye: 32 3/4"

Specifically mt01 or mt02 are not on my sidewalls. I did see these, on the 38's and 40's respectively...Are your pats the original mt01s or the new mt02s? Wife was happy with the 38" mt01s on the last jeep, I'm trying to find someone whose run both to see if there's a noticeable difference. The difference in wire diameter is pretty minimal, so the spring rates wouldn't be far off. I still don't know why everyone doesn't post their rates. If they are worried about other companies copying them, spring testers are cheap especially if you're getting into the manufacturing business. It's not some top secret proprietary information.
I don't think there was a 01 on the original version, but the 02 should be evident.Specifically mt01 or mt02 are not on my sidewalls. I did see these, on the 38's and 40's respectively...

Those center of the pic numbers end in 01 and 02. Is that it?
Oh, that much of an in the face marking. That's not on my 38’s and 40's, so both sets are the original versions. I've had the 40’s since Nov 2021, so the 02's are a more recent release.I don't think there was a 01 on the original version, but the 02 should be evident.![]()
They say "all new", but they look the same to me. At least the OP can give us a review, but I don't know if he has experience with the originals for a direct comparison?Oh, that much of an in the face marking. I like them, but I liked them more when they were under $300 a pop. I won't be going with a 3rd set. Nothing else in this size range was readily available at the time, which is why I bought the 2nd set. They say "all new", but they look the same to me. We liked them in the 38x13.50's, but aside from super heavy nittos there's not much else available in that size. Tempted to try the kanati mud hogs in a 39 when it's time for tires.I like them, but I liked them more when they were under $300 a pop. I won't be going with a 3rd set. Yeah, more manufacturers should get into the 38 game. I came across the Mickey Thompson XS's in the 38x13.5 size, but went back to looking after finding out they are bias ply and directional. We liked them in the 38x13.50's, but aside from super heavy nittos there's not much else available in that size. I paid $331 each for the 37s. Nothing else comes close to this price.I like them, but I liked them more when they were under $300 a pop. I won't be going with a 3rd set. Nothing else in this size range was readily available at the time, which is why I bought the 2nd set.
Yep, all the M/T02s are clearly marked M/T 02. If they don't have that on them, they are the first gen M/T 01s.I don't think there was a 01 on the original version, but the 02 should be evident.![]()
There are a lot of changes. I had a long chat with our Milestar rep a few days back, these are my notes:They say "all new", but they look the same to me. At least the OP can give us a review, but I don't know if he has experience with the originals for a direct comparison?
I have ran 35" Patagonias in both the first gen M/T 01s and the M/T 02s (prototypes) on my JK. The MT02s were noticeably better on road, less tread squirm and they worked better off road. I wouldn't say better by a huge margin, but they were improved. There are quite a few changes between the MT01 and the MT02.
The three big changes:
Cosmetically, there few changes. Mostly to sidewall patterns and not in all the sizes.
- Carcass
- Better quality fibers.
- Changed the angle of the plies and how they lay.
- Extra material under the tread area
- Gives the tread blocks more stability.
- New compound
- More silica - Helps cold and wet weather performance
- That was all they could really tell me about the compound. The rest is formulation changes and that's like the Coca-Cola secret recipe.
The benefits noticed during testing:
Milestar says these changes are evolutionary, after seeing how their tires perform and talking with the people out there running them.
- Better performance at a higher pressure. Testers were finding that if they were running 8psi on a certain trail, they could get the same performance or better at 10-12psi.
- Better tread performance on road in cold and wet conditions.
- Longer rotation intervals. Instead of 2500 to 3000 mile rotations, they're now seeing 4-7K miles rotations (depending on application).
Doesn’t everything have a higher tread wear rating than the Pats??Yeah, more manufacturers should get into the 38 game. I came across the Mickey Thompson XS's in the 38x13.5 size, but went back to looking after finding out they are bias ply and directional.
Long story short, and eventually figuring I'd see how the Jeep did with 40's, I got my eye on the Mickey Thompson Baja Boss M/T's. They seem to get rave reviews in the rain and snow, all while having a higher tread wear rating than the Pat's.
