Has anyone found a good Magsafe phone holder? I have a great setup with a RAM ball in my JLUR, but looking for a solution in my new 4xe. There is on bolt for a RAM ball in this model, and no air vent mount seems to work. There is also no great spot to stick anything on the dash.

This dash bar is really useful. It bridges the gap into motorcycle mounts and that market has strong mount for absolutely anything. I have my phone 1" behind the steering wheel at the 2:00 position. I can tap the screen without taking my hand off the wheel. And have a Garmin and GoPro mounted as well, with lots of room to mount more stuff anywhere.

Just resist the temptation to mount things in front of the passenger airbag. Unless, of course, if you want your passenger dead when it deploys.

I’m doing the below set up with the handle-based ball as the base. Parts are on their way - will plan to share pic once I complete.

I already had a Bulletpoint mount with the traditional grip mount and wanted to change to wireless charging since I got a Carlinkit wireless CarPlay adapter. I ended up getting the Morphie Magsafe charger since it's black, along with the Ram Magsafe charger mount and 1" ball adapter from Bulletpoint. I fed the charger cable inside the dash and ran it down to a 12V USB-C adapter under the dash. Now I can just pop my phone onto the charger and everything works with no wires. Very happy with it thus far.

Keep in mind that there’s a good chance that magnets won’t hold your phone if you’re running trails. The 67Designs one I bought for my iPhone 14 has a great magnet, and was 67D pricey, but can’t stand up to a majority of the trails I run. It’s ok for going to the mall, though.

This will work on the 4xe and hold your phone on corrugated roads. Just make sure you have a decent case - made by Apple. Too many cases use poor magnets or set them too far from surface for a weak hold.

If you’re enamoured with all the arms and bars blocking the windshield - this might not be for you though.
