I just picked up a set of Ace sliders awaiting to be installed. They are very solid, well made and can mount in tandem with rubicon oem rails. Try the secondary market for take offs since some previous Jeep owners strip them off and resell them at a discount. They weigh about 50 pounds each, fyi.
Both Jeeps are Rubi's and came with the oem rails.

I keep flip flopping on what I want to go with. At one point I was dead set on going with the LOD Destroyers. But it appears they will interfere with the metal cloak skids on the gas tank. It looks like they would use the same mounting points. I'll probably go with the Rockhard 4x4 ones that have the flat step. Need something to make entry easier for my dogs.

Actually have NV slider's waiting to be welded on to the JLURXR. Looking for sliders for wife's JLR that incorporates a step since she would like that and these seem to be a good design.
Now I'm jealous! ?

I originally wanted the Signatures, back before NV's existed, but needed an actual stepping point for my 4'10.5" wife. Between lift and tires, my JLUR sits just over 10" taller than stock and we always take the Jeep whenever we leave the house together. Since she spends so much time in it, I had to make that compromise. It's already like watching someone do yoga when she climbs up and down, so the slightly lower step cutout helps.

Ace rails mount to the “body” bolts, so underneath the oem rock rails. No need to take the Rubicon rails offs, which is nice. I’m curious if any ride height will be lost after installing 100 pounds of rail. There has to be a formula for every X amount of weight added reduces X amount of ride height.

This was part of the reason I went with ACE. You still cover the pinch weld at the bottom of the tub and the texture of the ACE match up with the OEM rub rails. There are a couple of write ups of installing these on here. Just make sure you heat up the body mount bolts first!

I heard that, as well. I’m having a Jeep off-road shop install them along with a pair of Mopar LCA’s.

Do you have the body bolt torque specs per ace recommendation? I think it’s around 90#.

92 lbs. I put blue thread lock on mine instead of the red. Check the bolts every once in a while and they are still holding fine.

Two main reasons I went with LOD Destroyers were: 1. Does not require removal of the body mount bolts (which break often) and 2. Integrated steps.

Installed a set of destroyers this weekend. Took about 3 hours or so, although was not in a rush. Very happy with the install and look. Originally I was very anti-step on the Jeep, but happy I changed my mind. Much easier to enter and exit, plus easily accessible for the roof rack.

Liked the redesign with the mounts separate from the slider. Much easier to manage and install. Also they didn't use spray foam for the slider packaging. It was wrapped with some dense grey foam and kept a ways from the box sides. No damage at all. The mount packaging was spray foamed but the foam was in some plastic making it much easier to remove. Only problem was that they shorted me the two thread roller bolts, although it was checked off and initialed by the packer. Contacting LOD for those.
