There is a consistent popping sound towards the end of the upward pulling motion on the emergency brake lever. This has been ongoing for some time and already has it replaced once, but it’s still doing it. Is this normal or something possibly out of adjustment? JLU w/auto transmission.
Tires are such a huge impact on ride quality along with PSI. I upgraded from the OEM Destination M/T rubber to Toyo Open Country A/T in load C, what an improvement! I run about 34 psi all year around, which seems perfect on 35's.
I run 2" TF spacers (2" front, 1.5" rear), front adjustable HD track bar (Yeti), Mopar LCA's on 35x11.5x17 tires (Toyo A/T, load c). It drives straight as an arrow, no issues. The OEM steering stabilizer replaced (warranty) and speedo recalibrated. Make sure you also get an alignment after any...
More than likely they just tested the main battery while it’s still hooked up and running with the AUX. That will generally yield a false positive/good reading. They need to pull the battery out and bench test it independently, verify the cold cranking amps. Mine was a 2020 with 20k miles for...
Mine was due to the main battery failing. I also had the aux replaced at the same time just as a precaution and no remote starting issues since the battery replacements done. Fyi, it’s a pita to access the aux battery. I hope this helps.
I acquired the silver model, but only the stereo (both speakers work) was operational. I removed the cd, lcd tv and installed a table top with decal. I think it turned out decent! First picture is before, second two are after the modifications.
My main battery failed around 22k miles, aux was drained down due to that. Replaced both at the same time as a precaution since the aux was already pulled and it’s a pita to access. These batteries are not cheap! Thankfully, the main was warrantied.
From what I gather, it was a limited release in 1986. The only thing missing is the description card and small antenna. The rest is fully intact, no damage. The fact that it’s aged 37+ years w/out being cracked open is remarkable! The whisky sloshes around inside, like a full tank of gas.
I recently acquired this decanter with the original box and an unbroken seal. It’s got a “Full tank of gas”! Anybody ever come across one of these and are they rare? It’s in very good condition.
Being its a 2020, batteries are probably close to failing if still OEM. Also, ensure the steering box TSB was done if it’s got the aluminum box. Finally, closely inspect the exterior paint especially around hinges and doors, hood and rear tailgate. Paint corrosion bubbles are common, so get that...
I was experiencing an intermittent remote starting issue, determined that the main battery caused it. Unless the batteries are tested “separately” it’s almost impossible to diagnose the problem since the main or aux could give a faulty good result. After reading some of the forum posts, I took a...
