So, this is a post Jeep Jamboree story.

I was washing my Jeep for the third or fourth time after getting home when I noticed that the passenger slider had not only made contact with the body, but is now permanently resting against the bottom of the passenger front fender, which causes it to easily separate from the body.

I'm hoping that I can fix it somehow, but I might have to take it to a professional.

Just a heads up go prospective LoD Defender shoppers.

10 foot long pierce of pipe, strapped to the bottom of the front of the rock sliders. Ratchet strapped to the bottom of the rock sliders, stood on it and bent it back into shape. Almost all better.

After. It isn't much, but it's a start. At least the fender doesn't pop off if you look at it sideways...

The paint should buff out. Or not. I'll figure it out.

That sucks. Do you have the older or newer version (ie mounting brackets welded on or bolted on)? Either way, it should not result in damage like that.

I have the old style. No big deal, that how it goes sometimes. The fender/quarter panel has a slight bend in it too. I guess they didn't do such a great job when they created that slider.

I like how well you roll with it.

If I let shit like that get to me, I'd be a neurotic mess. Besides, it's a jeep. On to the next adventure...
