  2. "Auxiliary Switches Not Available While Battery Charging" message

Did the aux battery bypass today by pulling Fuse 42 and disconnecting and taping the aux battery negative cable. Everything is good except when I first start it up I get the message: "auxiliary switches not available while battery charging” ? The auxiliary switches don't work for a couple...
  3. 🔋🔧 MAIN BATTERY REPLACEMENT TALK - JL/JT 🪫

I don't know if I missed it but could you please elaborate on why you do not encourage the removal of the Aux battery? On my 20 JL I pulled fuse 42 and disconnected the Aux negative cable. I was planning on removing the Aux battery completely just to get it out of there. If I removed the Aux...

  6. 33” tires on stock Moab wheels with a 2.5” lift. Thoughts?

Why go 33's? They will look so small on a 2.5". And then you'll regret going with 33's and buy the tires you should have bought to begin with - 35's. Also, depending on the lift you may need to run wheel spacers for less backspacing so the wheels don't hit the control arms.
  7. CB RADIO QUESTION

CB radio has gone the way of the 8 track tape. All clubs that I'm familiar with use GMRS.

  9. Any 4-dr JL owners switch to a 2-dr JL and…

Didn't switch. Just bought a 2 door to go with the 4 door. Everyone who has a Jeep should have a 2 door and 4 door.
  10. Does the High Tide Edition really get 19/24 mpg?

My 23 JLURXR with V6 etorque, 315's and 4.56 gears, completely stock, averages right around 18mpg per tank. 10 mile commute to work each way at 50 to 55 mph with a few stop lights along the way. Highway driving at 75mph will knock the average down to 17.3 ish.
  11. Did Jeep drop Etorque for 2024?

Looking at Jeep's build and price it looks like Jeep has dropped Etorque with the V6 and brought back ESS? Is it the same ESS as before? I'd much rather have ESS as it is easy to bypass and less complex than Etorque.
  12. New aluminum high line flat fender flares from Next Venture Motorsports at EJS

Those Nemesis fenders look good. Wonder when they're going to be available?
  13. To go extreme recon or not for daily

I have a 23 XR with the 3.6L and getting ready to turn 4k miles. Stock at this point other than different wheels with the stock tires. Its currently averaging 19.4 mpg per tank of gas. People so often get a new Jeep and then freak out over the mpg. New engines and vehicles need to break-in and...

  16. Installed beadlocks, now steering wandering - fix?

Your wheels are not the source of your problem. Plenty of people in my jeep group run 3.5" backspace. Its almost like a standard backspace for beadlocks. Fix your castor, beef up your steering, and adjust your tire pressure down if need be.
  17. Installed beadlocks, now steering wandering - fix?

Ran 3.5" backspace and 37s for years. Caster set to 6.2 degrees. RPM tie rod, drag link, track bar and Falcon stabilizer. 80 mph with 2 fingers on the wheel. No issue with ball joints.
  18. Installed beadlocks, now steering wandering - fix?

I've run 3.5" backspace wheels with 37s for years and no issue. Tracks straight down the road at 80mph with 2 fingers on the wheel. Caster is set to 6.2 degrees and RPM tie rod, drag link, track bar, and Falcon stabilizer. No issue with ball joints.

  20. Mopar Brake Controller in 23 JLUR with tow package and E-Torque ?

Looking to install a brake controller in my 23 JLURXR with tow package and E-Torque. Any issues with the Mopar brake controller and E-Torque? Since the E-Torque has a different dual battery setup are there any differences in the install? Also, I'd like to keep my cigarette lighter outlet. I...
