There are a million answers to this question because it depends on how you will use your Jeep.

For most, a simple spacer or leveling kit will suffice, as this gives the look most are after at a very low price point and will not alter ride characteristics much.

If you're looking for something fairly complete, Metalcloak, Rock Krawler, and Clayton seem to be the top dogs when it comes to JL suspension systems. I've had Rock Krawler on my old JKU and currently have Metalcloak on my JL and they're both excellent.

So, how do you plan to use the Jeep?

Keep it low, 2.5" max lift will give you a ton of room in the wheel wells and really let your suspension flex.

I have the Metalcloak Gamechanger 2.5" on my 2022 Rubicon and absolutely love it. Tons of flex and super smooth ride on road. Install is not too bad either if you have a few jack stands and an impact.

Also, you can do just about any suspension system in pieces if you're not sure how much you want to commit. To be most cost effective, you could do spacers, all 4 LCA's (or UCA's) to dial in caster, front and rear track bars, and shock extensions (or new shocks). But, depending on which brand's components you buy it may not save you much money in the end.

Look into the AEV 2.5". It is superb on road, and more than holds its own off road. Mild crawling is what I do too. I had this set-up for 10 years on my JK and never regretted it.

Unlike other lifts out there claiming to maintain the OEM suspension feel on road, the AEV actually improves it.

I will be getting AEV 2.5 dual sport XP with 37s. Based on my research, that will be more than enough for me.

I’ve been running the Dynatrac Endurosport lift since 2019, so far it’s been great. However, I’m currently looking into upgrading to a Metalcloak suspension system based on great feedback and seeing/experiencing it in action.

I’m running 35s no lift on a diesel and it flexes to the bump stops without rubbing at all! I have chopped the front fenders. I like the stock suspension.
