Had a new Bronco give me the Jeep wave today. It was lifted (Sasquatch likely), 35's and some Baja LP6's in the front bumper. Looked really sharp.

I gave him a thumbs up back. Feel a bit dirty over doing so. But figured in the divisive world we live in showing some camaraderie across brand loyalty was a good thing.

I have gotten a few waves and returned them. Don’t be exclusionary, welcome them. Same goes for motorcycles, I wave at everyone, I’ve got a big ass Harley bagger in the garage, but when I’m on my Honda and the guy on the Harley won’t wave back it’s not a good look. That guy thinks he’s better than me because he’s on a “real bike”. That guy is a tool, don’t be that guy.

I wave at anyone modified, anyone who waves first and all wranglers.

Edit: Just kidding John, I think your ? was a nice compromise instead of the wave.

I’ll give a thumbs up to classic 4x4s, would wave back to anyone.

(sorry, just realized not anyone: no Hummers need apply.)
Original Hummers get a thumbs up as well. H2 and later not.

Full disclosure: I usually don't initiate waves, but do wave back. But I gave a thumbs up and a wave to a 1st gen Bronco while driving my Gladiator. He waved back but looked kind of confused. I wondered if he was thinking that I was dumb and thought it was a Jeep. LOL

I'll wave to anyone. I got a wave from a modded XJ last week.

I spent many years on bikes. Mostly Harley baggers but I did ride imports early on. It was rare to get a wave from a Harley rider while on an import. When riding Harleys and got a wave from an import rider I always made it a point to wave back.

I will not be giving no Jeep wave whatsoever to any Bronco final

I wove to a Bronco this summer. It was a 68 though and I was driving my FJ40. We actually ended up waving at the same time. ?

I’ve had motorcycles for the last 20 years but I would never get a Harley because of the crazy cult following they had. I decided to get an off-road vehicle so I could start taking my wife on some of my adventures and chose a Jeep since it seemed to be the best tool for the job. I might have picked something else if I knew the Jeep cult was just as bad if not worse than the Harley cult. You people with your ducks and your exclusive waves are sad.

It’s nice to see that a lot of people here aren’t like that. Likewise I’ve met lots of people on Harleys that would ride with and wave at anyone on two wheels. The people that act snobbish make everyone else look bad. I don’t care if you drive a Wrangler, a Bronco or God forbid a Subaru, as long as you like to get off the beaten path and explore, let’s go see what’s out there!

Honestly, I didn’t even realize people did this. I used to ride a motorcycle and sport bike riders would “wave” to other sport bike riders and cruisers to cruisers (some times nice guys would cross “wave”) but I didn’t realize people actually did this for Jeeps. There are A LOT of Jeeps in CO, I will probably choose to not participate or my arm will get tired, same as I chose not to participate in the Rona days holiday. I wave to people on the trail though, or more like tell them how many vehicles in my group behind me…
