When you get it installed can you please update and give impression of the part. Thanks.
Parts are good, minus ups testing them out. I was worried about missing hardware since it was rolling around in a open top and side box. All there.

The engine cradle bolts were easy until my 14 mm ratchet wrench broke, then it was just slow going. The design is good and i think since it is one piece tying the frame rails together it will reduce frame twist, i was a little worried with any skid plate that the rotation of the engine on the engine mounts might contact the side of pan into the skid under load. I think the design will help against that. I can get about a finger and a half clearance all around the pan.

To my suprise the kit came with another piece to cover the drivers cat. I did not install it at this time,
Not sure if i ever will. No doubt it would provide maximum protection, but i dont really like how it mounts and if you need it you are already bad into the front driveline.....so leaving off for now.

Looks good, sure wish they made one for the updated oil pan. I will have to keep an eye on their website. Thanks for posting the review. @mountainoffroadenterprises

From what I am reading, the aluminum is lighter and more expensive. The steel is heavier, costs less but is stronger and will slide on rocks better. For me I will go with steel for my trips out west.

Yes the went to a stamped steel sometime in Q4 21'. It has a better profile for sure. Makes me wonder why they started with a more expensive cast alu pan.....better heat dissapation...in stock or fluid dynamics...not sure why the change?

Thanks for the the info. I had no idea they made the switch.

I’ve always disliked the aluminum pan for off-road use. One hit on a rock and it’ll probably crack where a steel pan may just dent.

Has anyone seen a part number list needed to swap to the steel pan?
