It will be interesting to see how that holds up. I won't get the Atlas until the middle of March, supposedly. Thanks for the info and any updates you care to share will be greatly appreciated.
I picked up my new TCCM today and the Atlas was ordered last week. I think I read somewhere you mentioned axles. What did you end up going with for axles?
I just recently returned from South Dakota and leave for Moab next week. My question is does Utah have an OHV permit. To use the public trails in SD, I had to buy a permit and attach to my front windshield. I have never had to get one in Moab, but wondering why not if money is an issue for care...
I don't have an issue if there are over sized tire fees , but that should be stated at the time prior to the work being done not after. I am especially not ok with them performing unauthorized work and removing OEM parts (TPMS) to replace with generic parts .
I brought my 5 week old 392 into the local @discounttire and just authorized them to swap out the OEM tires for my new 37s. They replaced my OEM TPMS with some generic TPMS. When I went to pay the bill it was $170.00. I asked why the price was so high, the manager chuckled and stated it was...
We installed the SP2 3.3 yesterday. The shock install itself was fine. Relocating or shifting the vacuum tank per instructions was a PIA, definitely a good idea to have a second set of hands. Also what steering box/sector shaft brace are you going to use?
Quick question. I just recieved my SP2 3.3 shocks for my 2021 392. I measured the shorter front reservoir and it appears it will clear the vacuum tank by at least an inch. What is the reason we are supposed to relocate the tank? Was this originally for people using the shocks with the full...
How was the install on your shocks? It appears you are running the Falcon SP2 3.3. Mine just arrived and the instructions say to shift the vacuum tank by the passenger fender. did you have issues when you installed yours? I measured and the shorter reservoir from the center of the bolt only...
Spoke to the guys at Adventure Rack Systems today and ordered the brackets in the kit, SKU R75060. It has one extra bracket (7045) but comes with all the mounting hardware for $309.00. If it make the rear bumper stronger it will be cheap insurance. Thanks for the information on this.
This is mine @dirtyredjl392. A 2021 392XR with @Clayton Off Road 3.5 Overland + Lift, @RPM STEERING aluminum tie-rod and drag link, @Adamsdriveshafts, @Mickeythompsontires 37x12.5R17 Baja Boss ATs and @BajaDesigns lights.
Sounds good, thanks. If anyone else has put the standard SP2 3.3 on their 392 please advise if they had any issues with the front reservoir size. @TeraFlex any info would be great.
Which of the 3.3s do you have ? Are they the 4dr JL model for the diesel or the standard falcons? I was told the standards don't fit in the front on the 392 , are you having any issues?
Today we took out the 4.5" springs and put in the 3.5" springs. The caster was adjusted to 5. The ride is much better and I did not noticed the vibrations on the 49 mile drive home. This was a mix of city and highway driving. The frontend is handling bumps much better with the shorter...
