No, i did not lengthen the sway bar links, they look pretty level. Just spacers, bumps, lcas and shock extensions. Rides great and have a couple thousand miles on it since
The fad, at least on my 21' is not active, just a static fork cast into fad cover and in the locked position. Kinda corny. Perhaps yours may be damaged? Not sure if the newer ones are the same. So even if your did force 2wd i would expect it all to turn from the wheels and continue the noise...
Never tried
Was curious back then, but never actually tried it. I dont mind the stock setup and did not see enough upside to test it early on. Now after a year i dont even think about it.
I hear ya supermike. I have pondered selling mine and getting another pickup and doing a 2 door six speed earl gray project. Everyone I mentioned it to thinks I will regret it. Just like I regret selling my last 4 jeeps..........If you do pull the trigger, let me know how it goes.
I ran the mopar reinforcement woth the alpha carrier on a heavy 127# combination for about a month. Ended up ditching the mopar reinforcement sheath for the teraflex alpha hinge gate to use with the alpha carrier. 100% beef, never looking back.
As stated above the wheel BS has a lot to do with...
As stated above running them on and off prior to install makes a huge difference. Then a strap wrench on the bump and a swivel head 1/4 ratchet with a short socket for the bottom.
I like the half door for cruising or trail duty. The openess and visibility is great while still having some containment.. Had em on my old yj too. It is nice to have full doors also for the security when needed. Keep it jeep.

I did not have my hardtop wiring plugged in from my last top off ride. It evidentally makes a difference in the sensitivity and functioning of the ANC when it thinks the top is on or off. It is so much better now without that overactive reverb. Glad it was simple and i hope this helps someone else.
Yup. While 25k aint what it used to be, my eyes bugged out out too. I have always sourced my axles swaps from the junkyard and if i am honest, by the time they are in they are wayyy more than i budgeted. Every time. But yeah, the platinums are........
