They say it is good for the health of the Pentastar if done occasionally, has to do with oil reaching some parts of the engine. Am I doing it properly? Don't worry, speed limit on I-90 is 70 mph.

My lil guy can take off despite 37s

The occasional wide open run is not going to hurt anything and is probably good for the engine.

the 3.6 is pretty durable in my experience. Unless you are running the heck out of it all day every day I doublt it would be a problem.

I run my ‘19 Sahara pretty hard, and it seems to be fine. It’s got the manual trans too

Every engine needs to be run wide open once in awhile. It will go a long way towards preventing sludge and carbon deposits.

When I do it, I like to find a steep hill. It puts a load on the engine and doesn't require you to reach higher speeds.

But, I can drive 45 miles on be on a highway with an 80 or 85 MPH speed limit. A lot of people drive that fast around here anyway, there is next to no speed enforcement on our local highways.

Got back home. Put some of that around my tires. Don't want my Pentastar's maternal warmth attract the rodents. Easiest vehicle for them to reach the engine.
