To answer the OP's question for $150 convenience group worth it. For $795 ummmmmmm not so much. I will say it is not forcing me into the convenience group, when I select cold weather.

Is the Convenience Group worth it?

I am glad I have it. It's worth is subject to one's opinion.

I'm ordering a Willys soon, and all the dealers I've spoken with tell me the Convenience group is required if I choose the Cold Weather group. I did want Cold Weather, but now I'm asking myself do I really want Cold Weather if it's going to cost me $2400.

The website only lists the following features of the Convenience group:
  • Universal Garage-Door Opener
  • Remote-Start System (Unavailable with some configurations)
But remote-start comes with Cold Weather, so I'd be paying $1000 extra for a garage door opener? $2400 for heated seats and a garage door opener!?

Are there any other benefits of the Convenience group? I might just get rid of the Cold Weather group altogether to save $2400.
It looks like you get a little bit of a discount when they're combined, but you're right: it sucks that you'll have to pay that much more for a garage door opener, especially when you don't have a garage. In theory having it will help resale. In theory.

Just the Convenience group unto itself, is not worth it to me. It's just remote start and Garage Door Opener... I don't park in the garage, the motorcycles get my spot.
Getting the Cold Weather group forces the Convenience group option. Cold weather is a must for me.

For perspective, mine was a 2021 factory order with manual, so I could not get remote start. The convenience group was still mandatory if choosing the cold weather package. So for my configuration, it was $395 for the convenience group and $695 for the cold weather package. I'm still a little bitter about paying almost $400 for a garage door opener that I have yet to touch or program, but the benefits of the cold weather package kinda make up for it. However the wife loves heated seats, so I guess it makes it worth it in the end :)

I'm in Phoenix so I didn't buy the cold weather package. But I did ask if $600 was worth it for remote start, many said yes. Love it and use it everyday.

I live in the northern midwest so Cold Weather group is a necessity. To be honest I never have the seat warmer above its lowest setting. The high setting is ridiculously hot to me. But the steering wheel warmer is worth every penny. For the Convenience group I like having the opener built in and I know others here have managed to program their other two buttons to control RF things but I haven't tried it myself.

If I had to choose, I'd take Cold Weather and leave off Convenience. YMMV.

We all have our opinions, but for me I wouldn't take the heated seats/wheel if you gave them to me.

I'm also anti-auto start. I want to physically be in there when I start it.

Also, my Sport S came standard with heated mirrors. I'll never use them, but there's a cool little heat wave icon on the glass.

Good luck with whatever you choose. ?

Heated seats and steering are probably my favorite option. Jeep would suck to drive in the winter without them.

I uh.. soft top, manual, crank windows. I have none of the goodies.
Still love driving it even on the 0 degree days.

I use the heated seat and heated steering wheel as soon as I get in the Jeep. Would definitely order that option again.

Options are a good thing. I would rather drive a ford pinto with a lane full of tailgaters behind me than your Jeep.
Everybody is certainly allowed their preferences! This is just mine.
cheers

Note that the heated driver's seat and steering wheel turn on automatically if it's below 40F. Passenger seat can do the same with a Tazer.

Yes, they're really nice in colder climates.
