SMH...if you've been following, this isn't about me, nor is it about gas theft. It's really about letting people do whatever they want with their vehicles and respecting their opinions. After all, nobody's browbeating the non-users for having unsecured gas caps. Just do whatever you want and let others do the same.
OK You stated your opinion ....at least five times per page.
We're giving you our opinion and now your calling people dicks for doing so.

Incorrect. The person was not offering an opinion, it was a judgment based on zero experience or fact. That's a much different thing. Since the beginning of this thread, no judgments were thrown at the naysayers. In fact, we even stated that we respect the opinion NOT to use a locking device. Why is it so difficult to let people do what they want without being judged? Why do some folks feel the need to antagonize others over the most insignificant details? I don't get it, but do whatever you want.

Haters come one come all…and I respect your criticism…doesn‘t apply to you. You have a way of making someone go from zero to rabid chihuahua somehow with the most innocuous of replies.
Rabid Chihuahua would be a great band name. 🎸

I'd post a rabid chihuahua meme, but I'm not out of facts yet.

Obviously, that just makes sense for a soft top. I'm in safari mode year-round too and do the same thing. But assuming you had a hard top...you still wouldn't lock it? And do you not lock up your home when unoccupied? Really?
We rarely locked our doors in our house in Colorado.

Had neighbors that left their front door open all summer so their dog could come and go. They eventually trained the dog to use the door handle, so she now opens and closes it on her own. But, of course, it's never locked.

The front door is locked most times, the slider is never locked and neither is the dog door. If you want in bad enough to fight 2x65lb pit bulls I don't think the lock on a glass door was going to stop you.
