Gas cap holder

I have searched this topic but no luck yet..what does everyone do with gas cap while fueling?..perhaps I am missing something simple? Thanks

I have the Mopar locking gas cap which is not tethered to the fuel door. I just place the cap on my rear bumper.

Not sure if its a mod or just a crazy idea but... I did this the other day. It seems to keep the cap from dangling against the fender. It does not interfere with the operation of the gas cap door.

I used these.

I cut the cap off the leash and the leash out of the fuel door.
Sit the cap on top of the pump.

I have the mopar locking cap. I leave the key in it which has a small keychain on it. After I put in the nozzle i set the cap with the key still in it between the door and nozzle it stays and cant be forgotten when the nozzle is removed.

I picked up the clip at my local Walmart. It’s one of those command clips that are easy on easy off. the package had like 8 clips in it. So if the clip ever breaks or fails you will have another one to replace it with. They didn’t have black so I went with clear.

I did the same thing, but I didn't see the small hooks. This is just one of those stick on hangers. Works great, and only cost a buck or two.
