@reaperhwk I didn't realize your wife had a 2dr manual. That means you and your Tahoe have your own theme song.

My Tahoe can tow my car to the track. The jeep can’t even tow the trailer unloaded :(
I get it. You’re confused about purpose-built vehicles. Wranglers aren’t for track days or towing.

Tahoes aren’t for towing either, of course. If you want a tow vehicle without the inconvenience of a dually, I recommend a diesel Ford F350 Tremor. It’s a comfy drive, it will tow a 12,000 pounds trailer with ease, and it still has enough ground clearance to run rutted two-track and get back to the barn. It’s not as convenient as a suburban grocery-getter near big cities, but who cares?

Best of all, diesel trucks are lab-approved and your kids won’t have to wear bags over their heads when you drive them to school!

Love the Tremors. Another option towing and hauling the kids (without wearing bags), is a Ram 2500 mega cab Limited. Luxury at 19000# towing. So many options that aren't a citified suv/van...

Retired from Corrections....I have stories.
Also my wife has some friends that have jeeps (all female for some reason) and they invited us out to some off-road thing. I’ll tag along my wife needs someone to hold her purse when she goes over some rocks…..

we had to take a longer drive recently, and she did tell me to take the Tahoe as she prefers that for long rides lol. She likes the Jeep better for around town and short trips though.

but to each their own. I was complaining to my bro about the Jeep he said I deserve to get roasted. It’s like a Viper owner complaining about the harsh suspension. This is his car and mine:

so I’ll take the roasting.

I actually recently seen that Dodge has released the new rumble bee muscle truck line, I really want the SRT version. That’s more of my type of vehicle. You guys would rather have a TRX I’m assuming….

Also note that the Jeep Wrangler is #3 most popular vehicle for lesbians.

The biggest thing is the ride is harsh and not smooth at all, it's like I'm driving a little toy truck on the road with suspension so stiff it jars it's like driving with no shocks. Almost like a one of those plastic toy cars you buy from walmart with plastic wheels. It's night and day ride to my daily which is a 2026 Tahoe with magnetic ride and air suspension, that drives like it's on a cloud. Maybe if I didn't have that truck I wouldn't notice.
But that's the fun part!! I also have had other cars that drive smoothly, and I love those for doing that.

That said, the 2026 Tahoe looks like someone stuck a Silverado grille on a minivan and lifted it. I always wanted to ask what the appeal for such a vehicle was. You used to see those EVERYWHERE out here in the 2000s but in the last 10 years or so I almost never see them anymore.

Looking at your other posts I feel that was probably undeserved lol. Sorry to hear your truck blew a trans. Sounds like you've had or still have some other neat cars!

Why the hell would you post something like that? Dont drive one then, get off our forum and join the Hyundai forum or Kia forum. Spare us from your opinion cause we love our Jeeps.

So you love to complain?
Tell your wife she needs to look into getting a Sahara JLU then long trips will become solo stylish trips as 4 door Sahara (JLU) rides much better for long trips - without incessant complaining or riding in basically a minivan, I mean tahoe.

Damn. You listed every single reason I love my Jeep. It’s loud, drives like a brick, doesn’t handle like a Prius yet somehow finds a way to get me deep into canyons that even the burros avoid….
