I hate to be the bearer of bad bad news but the next Wrangler is going to be electric with 200 miles of base range and IFS. It's going to have dual electric motors with a simulated transfer case and special vibration motors on the frame to give your steering wheel shimmies just like a classic Jeep.

On the bright side the 2 door is coming back and since it has a frunk now it'll actually have some storage space for once. It's going to be a game changer.

A small 1 liter turbocharged ICE engine will be available as a range extender. It'll come with a 5 gallon gas tank and give you 275 miles of total range. This will be the new 4xe model going forward.

Because of this new electric powertrain tire sizes will increase again, 35s are going to be standard with 37s available on the XR package. The big news is the new Rubicon "Big Foot" with 40 inch tires. This model is meant to take out the Bronco Sasquatch once and for all and cement Wrangler as the supreme off road vehicle for the masses.

Rest assured it'll still have a solid rear axle and the rear electric motor goes where the rear differential is currently. This will add unsprung mass and make the new Jeep drive similarly to current models so people are more comfortable with the overall new direction of the brand.

The other neat thing is because of the battery+range extender requirements all Wranglers will ride on the same frame and so 2 doors will finally have the same wheelbase as the 4 doors. This will make them equally as bad off road and Jeep has reduced the maximum possible "trail rated" score from 10 to 9 to make things fair across the board.

All 2 doors will now have red "trail rated" badges and Rubicons will get a new (as yet undetermined) special color. 4 doors get safety orange "trail rated" badges to remind owners they get stuck easier because of their increased weight. Unfortunately 4 doors will have a larger, even heavier battery with no additional range to make up for this.

I know all this because I've seen the new frames in person and was allowed to taste them for more accurate measurments.

What ?! … The Active Vibration System , but no Active Sound Enhancement with Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust pumping fake engine noise into both the cabin and the outside world. … They can keep it- I want a fake hood scoop too or no sale.

Well you're in luck, there is going to be a 392cc 2 stroke engine attached directly to the bottom of the drivers seat to simulate a gas engine and also every Wrangler will now get special 392 badging. Not available in CA.

If I wanted an IFS I could buy numerous brands that do it better than Jeep ever would. Jeep is what it is...good or bad. Keep it the way it is. With that said, I don't buy Jeeps for the solid axle. I bought mine because I love the look of Jeeps more than any other vehicle. I put up with the negatives of solid axles and when I get tired of the negatives I get something else without those negatives.

what? No seismographic seat heater??
I’m not interested unless it’s going to replicate the wobble in a way that makes my butt cheeks create a warming frication, it gets cold here in Canada 🇨🇦. 🤭🤣

Not Jeeps fault that you were born in Great Frozen North. The heaters would have reduced electric range too much so had to be sacrificed. I believe their goal was to eliminate exports to Canada entirely. And between that and the removal of the engine block heater I believe they might just succeed.
