Fiat was determined to make the JL IFS when in the design stages but was persuaded then it was in their better interest to stay with straight axle. Now we have the Inios competing for that space with straight axle. It’s more then likely that Jeep will stay with straight axle at least on more model.
There are more then enough IFS SUVs out there to choose from if that’s what one prefers.

lol there is nothing wrong with the current SFA. 90% of the problem is people who modify them with lack of knowledge or lack of maintenance. Just look at all the spring swap threads on here with NO knowledge of all the supporting parts that must also be changed.

I agree with @Jtphoto , my ride, handling, steering expectations were exceeded compared to a lifetime of SFA vehicles. Wander is even virtually unnoticeable until ~80. So good I’m not touching anything suspension or steering related unless a problem. So it’s stock.
Look at at the money I saved
