I've owned four JKs with Freedom Tops. I have never even considered removing the top. Combination of lack of appeal (to me), time to remove/install, storage, and inability to react to weather changes. But, mostly It's just not my thing. Different strokes...
And...I forgot to mention, usually it's just too damn hot to go topless. [here, at least]. But, mostly it's apathy.

No joke, freedom in the winter and full lock down in the summer, there's a reason I have carbon tint and UV film on the windshield lol.

50 degrees and sunny in CLE today.

took out the freedom panels and when for a drive with the 10 yo.

nearly took the top off, but still a bit chilly for that.

it’s nice driving around and feeling the sun.

Great points being made in this thread for and against open Jeeps. My neighbor down the block has 2 Wranglers for herself and her husband. Both have hard tops and she has told me they never open up. They also have a private home so storage wouldn’t be an issue. It’s just not their thing.
Me,I’m counting the days until Spring. I can’t wait to get “naked”

68 degrees and sunny in Houston this past weekend. I took the freedom panels off. It was barely warm enough to drive like that. Driving on the freeway at 70 mph, it was cold. Not everyone wants to be uncomfortable just to look cute. If it were a little warmer (maybe 75?) it’d be perfect. If it’s much warmer than that it’s too hot. Top off weather is a relatively small window for some of us.
Oh Texas. 68 is the perfect temp to me. I'm going full naked and the Jeeps top are doors are off too!;)

Knock yourself out bro. 68 degree wind smacking me in the face continuously at 70 mph is too cold for me, but if it’s right for you I ain’t mad at ya.
