Ya under warranty, I would have learned how to weld it if it wasn't.
It cost Stellantis almost $15k though.

Must be going to start with oldest first. The original recall, then move to us that got it in April 23. But hey least some progress.

Anyone wanting a 2023 Diesel new it is time to contact dealer probably and get one locked down.

March ‘21 build date here; Mopar, Wave, and Jeep App show, collectively, ‘parts unavailable.’
In no rush to complete recall; I’ll let others go first. And second.

Interesting timing; dealer brought-up recall today during drop-in. Advised, by dealer, to wait on repair (unless necessary). Will hold-off for a while and stay informed.

Haha right I am fine with others being first.

But yeah guess my theory of oldest first doesn't work!

Does anyone know if there is actually new parts they are putting in ? Or just going back Ruhr the CP3 pump? I’m kinda in the “I won’t go in unless I need to boat” with my ‘21 JLURD. I have 33K on so far, might as well let the initial waves of recal folks who absolutely need it to first, and maybe if we’re lucky parts available will improve with time for this issue.

Has anyone had their new pump installed? Any updates to report?

Not Yet, But I have an Appointment for Friday 10/13. From what i was told was "We will inspect it and see what parts we need to order, and you might have to take it back home and come back when the parts arrive." she also said "it might take longer than normal due to the STRIKE (No clue what strike is happening) that's going on." When i get there ill ask the service advisor if he can tell me what parts are needed. lets see if its a new hpfp.

Also do you guys think they'll void warranty if i have a 2 inch lift with stock wheels and upgraded inner fender liners? The car is running great, so i doubt they will.

There is nothing to inspect.

There are 2 possible situations

1. Jeep is operational will need to replace Fuel Pump

2. Jeep is brought to service department inoperable. Replace pump inspect entire fuel system and replace.

That is it. Your service department knows less than most of us here on this forum and it is their job to know. They are not reading it correctly.

No they will not void your warranty. Only thing that would be voided is the suspension you modified.

I'm also curious what they're replacing it with, so far my hpfp hasn't given cause for concern so I'll let others be the lab rats

I pick mine back up today, they are finishing up the rear axle replacement According to the diesel tech, the new HPFP is a redesigned CP4 that solves the issue of the cam rotation.

I’m really curious what the fix for the pump Is? Did they make a little plastic piece that will break later, or did they bob proof it?
