I'm prepared to take some vacation days to go to an out of town dealer that someone here says is trustworthy!

Thanks for the heads-up. The Jeep app says that parts aren't available, but the Mopar page indicates otherwise. I've scheduled an appointment to have it fixed.

It’s Waxahachi DJR - They aren't perfect but they also don't turn me away because I've added mods. They did the free oil changes on both Jeeps and even used the right oils.

The last job they did was swap my frame and it seems to have turned out surprisingly well.

It would have been SUPER easy to do the HPFP with the engine out ?

Dealer only. For those who needs this done, expect a *massive* wait time to get it into the shop depending on your location. Most shops only have 1 diesel guy, and theyre always swamped.

And for anyone else reading, I reached out to my local dealer. The parts guy confirmed that the HPFP parts bulletin went out today -- but it typically will take a week or two for the actual repair kits to become available to them. And during that same timeframe is when we should start seeing follow-up letters coming in the mail, prompting us to schedule the repair.

Interesting. My Jeep app shows "incomplete but repair parts ARE available".

I sort of look at it this way. I won't get the recall completed until I need the repair. If you do the recall and the thing grenades after, it seems you will be on the hook for the repair.

It doesn't seem they are updating the part to warrant getting the recall done.
