How to disable stop/start function on 2022 JLU?

Owner preference. I've the same harness in my Jeep. It's a convenience item that creates, or forces, a memory function for the non-ratcheting dashboard switch. The collateral effect is reduced wear and tear on the starter and the battery, thus extending the practical service life of each.

I get the disdain for ESS just as I have for MDS. But I would be satisfied with a simple button or knob as my GC has to disable (defaults to normal) like ESS does. At least until the warranty expires ??‍
