How Many Jeep wave services do I get?

Can anyone tell me how many Waver services come with the JL. I could have sworn it was 5, but today the dealer said it was 4.

The current program is 3 free oil changes and tire rotations the first 3 years for 2021 models. I believe that was reduced from 4 free oil changes for the first 2 years for the 2020 and older models.

I thought it was 3, but the dealer made it sound like 6. It shows 3 on the owners website.

So my 2019 JLU gets 4, but my 2021 JLU gets 3? This kind of gives me a different prospective anyway. I was thinking its like scheduled maintenance, but it not its just a free service. We should be doing other oil changes in between it seems. Otherwise over 3 years or 36k miles we would only have changed or oil 3 times... nah that doesn't sound right.

New 4xe owner here... I was a little tipsy last night reading the owners manual and it seemed a little unclear about oil changes. 10K on oil changes? Also i read in here that the manual states 91 octane but from what i read in the manual 87 is just fine OR you can run 91?

nah that doesn't sound right.

10K on oil changes?

On the JL Wrangler, you can go 10,000 miles or 1 year max between oil changes. Whether you choose do to so is up to you.

My wife bought a new Lexus RX350 a couple of months ago and the dealership told her the same thing - 10K between oil changes is now recommended on these newer engines.

I told her the same thing I say about a lot of things these days, "OTHER people may go 10K between oil changes, but WE will go 5K in my house."

This was a huge debate about 2 years ago as the 2.0T vs 3.6 debate fired up, BECAUSE the manual in the 2020 stated that the engine was designed to run on 87 octane, but that "for peak performance" you should run 91... like every manual states.

The oil changes others have addressed.

ALL Jeep's starting on the 2021 model year get the Jeep Wave service for 3 years, which includes 3 free oil change/tire rotations, one per year. It's no longer just Wrangler and Trailhawk's that qualify, ALL Jeep models do.
