Just picked up a used hardtop and the freedom panels are covered in this stuff. I've tried a magic eraser, dish detergent, etc and nothing works..any idea how to get this clean?

Not sure exactly what that is, but Simple Green is a pretty good cleaner. If it's sticky residue from adhesive, Goo Gone (citrus based cleaner) might get it off.

You could also install the factory hard top liner that should hide most if not all of that.

Have you tried removing it with soap and water? It looks like someone shook up a hot Dr. Pepper and then opened it.

Since it is that stubborn, try some rubbing compound.

Do you have iron water in your area? If so try some iron remover or wheel brake dust remover.

Could possibly be like red mud splatter. Basically high iron content…aka rust. Seeing as simple green n goo gone didn’t touch it that would be my guess. Try iron/rust remover.
