Have you tried WD-40? Amazing what that stuff will do.

Try chemical guys leather cleaner. I’ve used it to get stains out of textile fabrics and plastics. It’s not harsh as some cleaners. Used it to get a stain off my hardtop. Spray, work in with horsehair brush, wipe with microfiber cloth. Great on tennis shoes too. I know it’s for leather, but it is a great cleaner.

Try some adhesive remover in a small spot to see it that works.

Whatever you end up using that actually takes the stain off, please post it. I'm curious for future reference--never know when I'll have to get rid of any evidence. :bandit:

Spray it with luminol, then check with a black light...wear a respirator in case it could be contaminated blood, low velocity impact splatter... (or maybe I've just been watching too many Forensic Files shows...lol)
HotHeads headliners advise cleaning the areas with acetone before installing their headliners...give that a try and let us know what you find...
Above all, Stay safe...

It looks like iron deposit from well water. Try some iron out.

Looks like water spots. I've seen that on other items that were covered by a canvas tarp that got wet and dripped dirty water onto the item. You might try a spot/scale remover.
