For whatever reason, finances, boredom, leases, mechanical, how long are you planning to keep your JL Wrangler?
Also, what is the reason behind your decision?
My original plan was 4 years but we will see. It is expensive to set it up with base plate and proportional brake controller. In addition I have 8k of upgrades so if it seems reliable and no major amazing upgraded models come out from Jeep I may keep it a few years longer. It has been fun to drive.

Forever. My kids will have to decide what to do with it when I'm gone some day long in the future.

Why? Because I've had Jeeps all my life, modifying, building, etc. When I bought 392 XR, it encompassed everything I have ever wanted in a Jeep: V8 power, 35's, enough tech but not too much, all in a factory package. To me, unless Jeep comes out with a Hellcat or Demon Wrangler, the 392 is the ultimate, and I will never need anything else.

We tend to keep our vehicles until they can't be repaired. (We still have our 24 year old Honda Odyssey.) Our Jeep will be 7 years old in Dec and it has been relatively trouble-free so far.

I kept my '76 CJ-7 for over 14 years, until the 383 Chevy (I know, I know) I built for it ate my drivetrain.
I then had 2 Grand Cherokees, the '08 got crashed into and totaled in '13, and the '14 got sold to buy a more economical commuter for my wife.
The '24 we bought this year will be the dinghy for a motorhome, and I am too old to build another one, so this one will likely be with me until I die! LOL

Since I am 67 this year, this may be my very last vehicle I will own. Being so happy with it and only turn 4000 miles max p.a. (is second vehicle) and a gasser, which will be extinct anyways, I will hold onto it until either I take my last breath or the Jeep

If all the electronics don't get all buggy, like the 4XE Wranglers, then I might hold onto it longer than 10-15 yrs. My pickup truck is going on 19 yrs old, and still running strong. Then again, Stellantis didn't build it.

Paid it off right away (technically a 4 month loan) and got a 6 year warranty on everything. It’s a 4xe so I guess I offload it either at 6years or shortly after. The 6 year warranty covers everything and I think the drivetrain is much longer. If the jeep looks solid I use it a few years beyond the 6 year warranty. If the jeep looks not so solid and if others see lots of problems then I sell it at about the 6 year time point. If I win the lottery I keep it forever.

Until gas engines go the way of Red Barchetta's motor law. The v6 Pentastar is a good engine, contrary to what most say, and it's affordable to rebuild since there are so many on the road. The ZF8 is a fantastic gearbox. Same goes for the 241 t-case. The build quality of the JL is better than most modern vehicles. Paint, fasteners, moving parts, etc., are above average. No reason to not drive it til it dies.

I have an 18 with only 33k on it, no issues so far. But if I do have any issues, luckily I got the lifetime unlimited Mopar warranty so when my 8yo is driving it will still be covered!
