Your rig still looks awesome though since you’re running 37s? Idk if mine will look like that on 33s with the same offset. I’ll go up to 35s in the future.
Oh wait... I missed the part about 33s. IMO I think it may look a little odd running a 33 with a -38 offset. Even a 35 might look a little disproportionate. That's just my opinion and I'm not knocking what you are trying to do.

I'm running Method 106 beadlocks in a -44 offset with 37x12.5. Just so you can see even a bit more poke.

Looks great with the AEV RX bumper too!

Are those 37" MT BB MTs?

how do you find steering with that much offset?

thanks!

Sling is also what gets on the rest of your vehicle - mirrors, windshield, door handles and windows. Not just what flies out the back!

I'm curious, will the extra offset put any considerable extra wear on the bearings? Yes, I realize we do that already with bigger tires, but how much does the extra offset multiply that force?

Correct on the tires. They've been fine. I had these same wheels and tires on my previous JKUR. No concerns at this stage, but have only had the vehicle for a few months.

Ohhh, That does make sense.

I'm currently running -6 backspacing on my Icon Rebound Pro wheels, but then I threw on an extra 2-in spacers from Rough Country.

It looks good though.. The slinging debris when off-roading kind of makes sense though.

Here's my current poke past the bushwacker fender flares I'm running...

In Texas tires past the fenders only applies to trailers, so you can actually run without fender flares and you'll be completely legal. Not true everywhere though. Some states have less user-friendly laws. :involve:

Lol, yep. I've had the entire sides of my Jeep a beautiful mud color from that crap.

I couldn't tell you exactly how much or how long it will take to wear things out quicker but the reality is as soon as you jump tire size and start into the offset void you are wearing things out faster than intended. I would be more concerned about the factory ball joints vs. the bearings. The stock components are really just capable for stock soccer moms. Even then throwing an aftermarket trackbar on is a good idea. I have replaced/reinforced every front end component to deal with larger tires, rock crawling and offset. So I guess what I am trying to say is once you start building it's only a matter of time until wear factors in.

I always use this site for offset visualization - https://tiresize.com/wheel-offset-calculator/

Stock Rubi wheels have an offset of +44mm. Going from +44 to -38 will push each wheel out 3.23 inches. That's a lot of poke.

If it helps any, I just went from stock wheels to Method MR703s with 0mm offset. Pushed my wheels out 1.73 inches. Went from no poke to this. Going from this to -38mm offset pushes them out another 1.5 inches.

I also went with 0-offset wheels on mine, in my opinion it's exactly the "right" amount of poke. Looks nice and aggressive, but not to the point of ridiculousness. That's with 37x12.50 tires. If I had bigger tires I might want more poke.

Thanks. I totally agree and was thinking the same about -38 offset on 33s. I’d run 37s if i could but for desert driving, 35s would be the sweet spot.

True! More poke on a bigger tire looks awesome.
