i’m changing my wheels and tires tomorrow and I’m trying to decide on -12 or -38 offset for 17 x 9 wheel. I just wanna get some opinions on which one I should get I plan on putting coil overs in three years but right now I’m putting on a Rancho 3 inch lift if I get a -38 I don’t have to switch out my wheels for the coil overs, but if I get a -12, I would have to.

-38 will stick way outside the fenders. Usually a wheel like that is used for big lifts and 37” plus tires.

-38 offset reminds me of a Brodozer. Way too wide. Just my opinion.

This is with a 1.75" spacer with stock tires

Sorry I can't remember what the B/S was stock I think it's 5".
This should be 1/4" more both sides than -38 which is 3.5"

I didn't take a good pic of the rear with 1.75" spacers and 37"s with -12 4.5" HTH

Swapped from +18mm Racelines to -44mm Methods when I chanced to beadlocks, mainly because of the limited offset availability on beadlocks. My MC lift cleared +18mm except I could touch the sway links up front. 37"x12.50 KO2s on +18mm vs 38x13.50 TGs on -44mm, fenders are Maxterrain/Hyperforms:

38" on - 38

BBut beadlocks are a bit wider than what you are looking for. I will warn you that the increased offset wears ball joints faster.

Your electric rioter zapper setup looks pretty sweet.
