I have an opportunity to buy a very high miler for very cheap.
its a ‘18 Sahara with a 200k with the Eco Diesel.
I can get it for a little over 20k
From the pictures and video, it looks very good but the mileage scares me a little bit.

I am inclined to get it unless something completely new develops in the next couple of days.

Any info/insight would be appreciated.

TIA

I personally wouldn't get anything over 50k miles pre-owned. Quick search found some in the 20s for under 50k.

If you can get that jeep for 10k then that's a deal.

That’s a second chance credit used car lot special.

20k is too much. Especially if you’re going to make payments on it.

High mile Wranglers are cash vehicles, bought cheap, so they can be built into something better than a bad, and expensive, commuter vehicle.

Bingo. This right here.

The only thing higher than the mileage and the price is the seller. Go hop on AutoTrader, punch in your stats and set the radius to 200 miles. If your profile is right (Colorado/ Cali) you should have TONS of options. Good luck.

Remember- you didn't miss out on a "deal", you walked away from getting ripped off. JLUR (4 door JL Rubis) area a dime a dozen. Keep looking

2.0, plus 150K miles. Nope, I would not walk away from it, but I would definitely run away from it:facepalm:

I can't really say if the price is decent or not. But in any case that is higher miles. Local to me you can buy a JL Rubicon Unlimited with half the miles for $25k-$30k.
Are you planning on financing it? If so, for how long? How many miles per year are you planning on putting on it? The final question.....if something major like the engine or trans fails on it next year do you have the money to fix it, or able to take the hit on it when you sell it as a non-runner. Main point being, if you take out a $20k loan for it and the engine blows up tomorrow.....you still owe the bank over $20k but now the vehicle is only worth maybe $10k..or less? Also, if you take out something like a 5 year loan and planning on putting 15k miles per year on it that means you would have 225,000 miles on it before you had it paid off.
