I got these Messages on the dash:
ABS Service anti-lock brake system,
Service Electronic Stability Control,
Autopark Disabled,
Sway Bar Disconect Unavailable.

Steering wheel is hard as hell to steer. Impossible to drive. It happened after 5 tires rotation routine today. Car is not drive-able. Both batteries are topped up after complete disconnect and still same messages and issue. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Are you sure about the batteries? This sounds like the classic failure.

Are you load testing or just seeing 12-13 volts. They can show voltage, but have no real amperage available.

I would suggest letting it sit a bit on a charger and trying again. I was able to get everything to reset that way a couple time before finally doing the AUX Batt delete.

You right, I am not sure, I will attach another deep cycle batt today using booster cables and try again. Each battery shows 12.6 and 12.7V respectively and they are four years old, still original. Will try to erase aux as well and go from there...Thanks for the response.

I suggest you go to the gym and work on upper body strength to be able to maneuver your vehicle when the power steering goes out.

Blown fuse? Heavy steering likely means the electric PS pump isn't running.

Thanks guys, back to normal. New battery, aux bypass, fuse 42 removed. Upon start, same messages, same codes, same impossible steering. Decided to go for a short ride to figure out if I can stil drive it to dealership and how. After 200 meters all back to normal????

Yep, Classic stupid little tiny battery issue. They should be used in lawnmowers, not Jeeps.

Green star connector behind glove box needs replaced. Same issue I had about a year ago. Part 68321746AA

You wiggle the wires it will be good for a few days or weeks then it happens again. When I took mine out you could see solder joints on the bottom cracked and separating.
