Wasn't sure where to put this, so here it is.

I have a Hydro Blue Jeep, with just little touches of Mojave orange, currently on the recovery/tow hooks. I just installed a Badlands winch, which has BADLANDS across the top/front in silver. These are raised, so I'm pondering having @pixeldecals cut me some custom decals to change the color from silver to orange, so that my recovery "aids" are all orange, both for style but also visibility. Eventually I'd do the hook, too.

Key concern:
- Is it too "Warn-y"? I'm definitely not trying to have a fake Warn here, or pretend the Badlands is a Warn.

How it looks today*:

What it would look like (roughly):

*Yes, I know I'm currently missing the hawse fairlead cover, which is also silver. I'm heading out to find replacement bolts today so I can get that installed.

I think that sounds like a fantastic idea. Definitely could make that happen.

I don't think it would look bad. Have you considered using orange paint / paint pen on it? I'd worry about a decal coming off.

BTW - you're missing your hawse fairlead cover... ;)

Can't tell you..shhh
The only problem I see with it is if you make a Badlands decal you gotta find somewhere for the "s" ;)

I’m not a fan of the orange, I’d go with a red that compliments the red accenting of the rubicon trim. Just my preference though. Definitely hit up Pixel though!

Jmo, but I'd either debadge it completely or get a decal that subdues the branding (gloss black text over flat black background). Just not crazy about any aftermarket branding on a vehicle, whether it's Warn or Harbor Freight. But that's just me. Do whatever makes you happy!

Definitely do it, I would. I'd go decal too. Shouldn't be a problem if you prepare the surface correctly. That way, you can easily reverse should you decide to.

I have a Sahara, so no Rubicon Red anywhere on my Jeep. My front tow hooks were pulled from a Mojave Gladiator so they're kind of a dark orange, and I rattle-canned my back tow hook to match.

Ahhh gotcha, apologies! In that case the orange would work well!

This same thought crossed my mind yesterday as I was walking up to my Jeep at the office. I just put the Badland winch on last weekend and not sure I am a fan of the silver branding and was going to reach out to pixel decals as well.

Possibly in Sarge green? If that was on your website, I’d be all in.
I need to go to harbor freight and do a crayon rubbing of the logo on the winch or have one of you friendly people help me with that part.
