Nope

.345s on 33s with auto
&
.410 on 33s with manual

Both will go to 35s once new tires are required. I'll find the regear point eventually. 🤷‍♂️

That's pretty much just a yes / no question, right? Putting a subset of ratios in the poll makes it kind of pointless.
But then the "no" answer wouldn't look as impressive. Split up the yeses, the yes's, the yesi??? Anyway, Split up the yes answers and the no looks a lot bigger.

Truth be told I’m not really interested, but the majority of the pictures I have seen on this forum are just dirt roads. I get that people spend a lot of money and time investing in their Jeeps and push them to the limits of what they can do.
I also enjoyed driving to work in blizzards in my Civic with a foot plus of snow on the ground and never getting stuck.
I'm guessing you've seen the Grand Canyon in person and realize that it's massively different than what pictures convey, right? It's the same with rock crawling.

I understand you need a built up rig to do rock crawling, but if I did go off roading that would be my least favorite activity.
Driving thru the woods on a empty trail would be nice because of getting close to nature, being the tree hugger I am.
Following other jeeps in a pack or needing a spotter seems like traffic, just in the woods.
If I owned 50 acres like my family did in both Missouri or upstate NY driving the land would be nice.
I still have a happy memory of my Uncle Frank in upstate NY driving what must have been a left over WW2 Jeep with six of my cousins in the back driving a trail thru his land.
The first pig roast (and last)🙃 of my life followed, I was probably eight years old.

not necessarily my thought was that 513 are going to befor guys running 40 vs the others going from a smaller tire 32 to say a 35 or from a 34.5to 37s

Then you wouldn't build up a rig to do rock crawling. A Tacoma, however, would be great for that as well as being much more comfortable going to and from the mall. Their IFS is great for comfort and handling, but it can't compete with a SFA where articulation is king: rock crawling.

We spent about four hours doing two badge of honor trails Wednesday. I have no idea how you could think of not seeing another vehicle or person for four hours as being like traffic. The forests of Oregon are gorgeous.

Yes, I needed my wife to spot me a few times, but that was a level 7 trail and I've married an exceptional spotter. And yes, she's pretty damn good at rock crawling herself.

Maybe you don't like challenging yourself and the feeling of accomplishment when you overcome those challenges. For me, life would be boring AF without that fun.

Now if that was snow and a hatchback Civic that would be me getting out of my street to the main road in February 1998 at 4:15am ..... 👍🙃

4.56 here, guess I’m not in the cool club.

We're bringing our wife's?
If I'm going out it's to get some peace and quiet. 🙃
The mall quips are getting old, like a record that keeps skipping and repeating itself...🤣

3.45 -> 4.88 when I went from my (6MT) Sport's Frisbee tires to 315's & 2" lift. Made a huge difference, definitely the right choice for him here in Colorado. I don't have the 4:1 T-case (yet) but he's low and slow enough for the stuff I'm doing now.

Starting to consider next set of tires and 4.88's open the door wide for just about anything, though I've been very happy turning the 62 lb. tires + 30 lb. wheels with that ratio. I'm also a little less worried about overall weight gain or wind drag from the roof rack. For me 4.88's were a worthwhile upgrade and perfect match for how he's used. Still seeing 20-22mpg on trips through the mountains.

Not yet, and may not ever. We will see. Currently on 35's at 4.10 in the manual. No issues on or off road. Going to 37s next week and going to see how it feels before deciding to regear. I'm told I probably won't need it but we will see how it feels. My initial thoughts...current tires are 75 lbs a piece and new tires will be 80 lbs a piece. Not a big jump. I may not feel it.
