Sorry @THAW. I posted a question that hoped to address repeated inquiry by others on the forum regarding whether they should have trepidation (oops: sorry, "fear", there I go again) about effecting this modification and being denied dealer service. Shame on me.

What thread have you authored to inform or help others?

If someone asks a simple, terse, apolitical question about people's dealership experiences with a specific modification, and whether that caused issue for them, by all means don't answer yes or no.

Don't embellish on why, if it was, the answer was "yes."

And don't understand what this modification entails, so as realize it not only harmless, but at times beneficial, and even consistent with how one AGM battery JLs come from the factory, jumpered between N1 and N2, and absent an Aux battery and a Power Control Relay PCR that Fuse 42 being pulled effectively mimics.

Why it's such a terrible modification that Stellantis themselves models it a more recent JLs, 48 volt battery equipped rather than 12 V AGM Aux battery.

Instead talk about how no dealer should or would accept service on such a modification in the midst of the near absence of forum history of such denial (which prompted the question in the first place) and absence here of a single person reporting such denial of service issues.

Instead, treat the question like it was a discussion of whose religion or political candidate is best.

Arrogance, ignorance and off topic comments (the last of the 3 being the least of it: guilty of same).

The thing of it is that in enjoy schooling arrogant misinformed posters with facts, who are responsible for opening salvos to harmless questions. I know I've hit where it hurts when "somebody else's internet meme" gets posted by them in lieu of their meaningful debate or when they gang up with laughing icons but again no words to back it up when they pretend to find something I said funny that's fact, like their above explaining why (as if.)

If I disagree with something someone says I say why. I don't start fights doing it, but I will engage when engaged.

Laughing icons get used by me when I enjoy what was intended as satirical content, not as (feeble) attempts to mock.

I can guarantee you, not one retort you have given here has "hurt" anyone. Lol. You're literally the latest, of many, JLWrangler forum "cat toys". You'll get batted around for a bit until you slide under the metaphorical refrigerator, at which point, even less will give a shit about your walls of text.
